I have just fed my dog using this bowl, it seems too small at 700mls, (the large size). My dog cannot open his mouth to eat his food normally. He has started licking up to food instead of biting it.I have removed the insert for the next meal, partly because it was making such a noise and to see if this allows more room in just the melamine bowl.The combined weight of these bowls is not heavy, the melamine is not very thick, the bowl can move about when he eats. I think this bowl cost too much for what it is.

This is a beautiful and functional cat / dog bowl. The smallest of the three sizes is a cat bowl, the middle size is for small / small to medium dogs and the big one for medium/ larger dogs. It is dishwasher safe and the stainless steel insert can be easily taken out for a quick clean / rinse. The bowl does not move across the floor when being used and overall is hard to fault. It is pricey but of higher quality than the average plastic dog bowl. I like ceramic bowls but have managed to break a couple. Highly recommended.

I bought two of these for my small dogs and they are tiny. At best only suitable for a cat and at £14.99 each they are ridiculous. I bought two correct size bowls of the same style at Pet’s at Home for half the price. Unfortunately I couldn’t return them as I was only in the UK for a couple of days. Anyone buying these should check the size and price very carefully before ordering. I rarely write negative reviews but I don’t like being ripped off!

Bowl overall is OK but £25.99 is a bit steep, the 700ml food bowl is an adequate size but the insert used for water is far too small for a large dog, my labrador would have left more water on the floor than she consumed. Delivery was OK, item returned for a refund.

We have six dogs so have a lot of different dog bowls, this is by far one of the best we have used. Will be buying more soon to replace some older bowls.

Read the dimensions as I was disappointed it said cat or small dog. Far as I know a small dog eats more than a cat so wasn't happy with the size yet couldn't send it back as my cats previous bowl had cracked! Overpriced too. But it's a lovely shade of blue, easy to clean too

It was just what we wanted for our special dog when she visits us.
