The iron heats up quickly. Works well. Steam and spray work as expected. My only trouble I have is seeing the water level as the sides are a dark grey and is tricky to not overfill. Other than that, pleased with iron.

Now that I've used this iron for awhile I gave it 5 stars. Lots of steam and heavy enough to press well but not tire you, Heats up fast glides smoothly over fabric. The pointed end is nice for corners. Holds a lot of water. I thiLike others have said you cannot see the water level but that's ok for me, I keep water near and fill at random. I had been using an average inexpensive teflon non stick iron and it got nowhere near as hot as this one nor did it give as much steam.

I've had this for several months now and it is great. Heats up quickly; moves smoothly over the clothes to take out the wrinkles. Very happy with it.

Soleplate is marred in several places. The box looked as if it had been opened already. I will update the usefulness of this iron after I use it. But I’m very disappointed in the condition of the soleplate. After using this iron it remains a 2-3. Pro’s: It heats up very quickly. It works well on linen and cotton. The Soleplate flaws did not catch on fine linen. The price was reasonable. Cons: I could not iron two yards of cotton fabric without having to set the iron down to reheat, but it heats fast. Still it’s aggravating. The steam burst works when it wants to work. Even properly heated with the steam burst set on high, it doesn’t work consistently. I got 1 burst. Then another 6 minutes later. Also the water reservoir is black so you can’t see the water level in the tank. If you want an ordinary iron it’s fine. But it loses heat as quickly as it heats up. I’m disappointed for my needs. But it will iron your shirts and slacks.
