I bought this product less than a week ago, and tonight, I realized the product’s head broke like this. I never forcefully did anything to it, which is why I was confused. I expected something that costed $17 to be more durable than this.

After using the adapter for one week in the 2018 Macbook Pro, I needed to move it in another port. The only way I managed to do that was with a screwdriver (and yes, I tried with the pliers first). If you have to do that, I advise you to protect the laptop for scratches first.The weak magnet issue the other reviewers are talking about is real, but that's not as inconvenient as being incapable of removing it without tools, from my perspective.

Tested with Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and Eve V Laptop. Both are working and able to charge.The charger I am using is from Eve V Laptop itself which is using USB PowerDelivery (PD)So far so good. The only improvement I would suggest is to have stronger magnet.Keep up the good works.

Have had this for a few months now and it works great. Like the peace of mind if someone (or the dog) trips over the cord that my expensive laptop won't fly off the table anymore. This little adapter has already paid for itself because of this.

Magnets are not strong enough. Simply the flex strength of the cable is enough to disconnect this device whenever you move the cable or laptop.

The cable drops too much more easily than Apple's Magsafe with slight tilts by hand. This is too safe...
