If you’re going on a long journey, you’ll appreciate the large carrying capacity and light weight of Osprey’s Ozone 80L/28". With over 4,800 cubic inches of cargo space, this wheeled luggage piece is ready for a serious voyage. Osprey’s HighRoad LT Chassis combines a durable ABS plastic back plate with a lightweight aluminum frame to ride on large, sealed bearing wheels for easy rolling even on rough cobblestones. Internal and external compression straps add extra stability when ferrying heavy loads. Open the panel zipper to access the spacious main compartment where a series of carefully designed inner storage pockets line the periphery. Exterior features include a top zippered pocket for quick access to your water bottle and other small items. There’s a large front zippered panel pocket and a back pocket with a drain port for damp storage. Low profile carry handles on top and side provide purchase when you have to hoist the bag up into the back of the bus. Osprey’s innovative Handle-It attachment system anchors an Ozone backpack or courier bag (each sold separately) to this bag’s ergonomic T-handle creating a unified rolling luggage package. And an internal ID card holder helps reunite you with you gear should it go astray while making a tight connection between Paris and Dakar.

Really nice: lightweight but sturdy wheeled duffel bag
Really nice: lightweight but sturdy wheeled duffel bag. Stands upright no problem, even fully loaded and with an additional small bag slung over the handle. Wheels easily. Not a carry-on: sufficient size for a long weekend or week long trip. Provides a number of compartments should you choose to separate items (clean and dirty clothes, shirts, toiletries, headphones, etc), but you don't loose any space if you decide to forgo them and load everything into the main compartment. Internal and external compression straps are very useful: keep things from moving around / settling awkwardly if the bag is less than full. My new favorite piece of luggage

Great piece of luggage I would recommend.
While one of Osprey's larger capacity offerings, to be honest it's a little smaller than I anticipated. Not small enough for carry-on, but not far from it either. I purchased this specifically for a trip to the Dominican Republic, where we stayed for 6 days Typical for me, I probably needed 4-5 change of clothes (since we were in swimsuits most of the day) and I probably brought 10. I used packing cubes though and was able to get a lot into this bag. Much more than I thought. I had 3 pairs of shoes, which takes up a lot of room. I had an old pair of tennis shoes, for an excursion (I left them there) and some Sperry's and then some water shoes in this bag.The quality is top notch, which I would expect from Osprey and a little higher dollar piece of luggage. When I originally started looking at these, I wanted the backpack or perhaps the Sojourn. After a lot of research, I opted for the Ozone, thinking I would make my carry-on my backpack, which I did and it worked out well. Plus the Sojourn was just too much money for the amount of traveling I do.The handle works well. The wheels are the best I've used. There are only two...and don't allow you to pull it any direction, like you can with the 4 wheeled bags. But that's OK with me. The compression straps are a great addition, although I think they could use another one on the interior. The one interior strap seems a bit "off" in it's placement and didn't cross my packing cubes very well. I chose the black color because it was cheaper, but I would suggest another color if you want to more easily identify your luggage at the baggage claim. The only "con" I can think of, is that the handle mechanism seems to take a lot of space up inside the back. Again, you can fit an amazing amount of stuff into this bag, but that handle mechanism is quite stiff and bulky and does take up some room.As checked baggage, I can't think of anything better. the pockets were enough to fit everything I wanted to in. I used the mesh pocket on the top flap to put "used" or "dirty" clothes into. All in all, great piece of luggage I would recommend.

best rolling bag ever
For years I have had a much heavier rolling bag. I wanted durable with strong wheels and that's the only option I could find. durable = heavy. but the draw backs was I ran out of weight allowance before I ran out of space. but that's NOT the case with this bag. it is so light weight. I knew it would be light but I was still shocked at how light. and its durable. the handle feels great in your hands the wheels are recessed so they don't snap off like on the light weight "economy" bags. I liked it so much I bought a second one and am not going back!

Another great Osprey Bag
First, let me say, I LOVE OSPREY. I could work for their company! They are the best bags ever. We travel quite a bit and the bags take a beating. The ones that are nearly 5 years old look just as good as the ones that are a year old. The bags don't seem very large, until you start packing. The zippers and compartments are well thought out and make it very easy to find things and to add things. The wheels make transporting the luggage a breeze. The handle is ergonomic and easy to move quickly. I love the compression clasps on the outside of the bags that cinch and tighten it down. Won't buy any other brand!

Best Guarentee
Great light luggage, has survived 4 trips in two months across the United States. You can not beat the Osprey Guarantee either, so if an airplane does get to rough with it, you know you have luggage for ever!

This is awesome luggage. VERY light weight
This is awesome luggage. VERY light weight, rolls well, stands up well, lots of pockets and features. If you wanted straps on your bag, this one doesn't have them.

Durable and how nice not to worry about weight limits with this bag
Very happy with the weight and it's durable. I was a little worried about the frame, but it was used this summer for 2 weeks across New Zealand, and several summer camp sessions with no issues at all. The lime green color inside allows you to find things quicker.
