This is a replacement drive for a 750GB drive in an HP envy. I had no problem with the drive itself....although I have not tried to do anything but plug in, load and play. I do have an un-resolved problem, and that is that the HP envy cage doesn't fit the holes on this replacement drive. My HP was on the list of compatible laptops, but since I haven't really solved this problem, I'm just being careful. As the title says....so far, so good.
