Will these glasses work for a 6 year old? I need 10 glasses so this is perfect, but there is one child so want to know if these are safe for them too

Yes. These glasses are on the NASA approved list. Safe for all ages. You might want to tie them on your child with string to prevent them from slipping off as even a few seconds of direct exposure can be extremely damaging. Enjoy the eclipse!

Are these the sunsafe glasses listed on the certificate of compliance? the listing calls them sunglasses or solar eclipse glasses.

On the inside of the left ear piece there is a Lunt Solar System emblem and beneath that it says "meets the safety requirements of ISO 12312-2 for direct solar viewing". When you put them on it is virtually pitch black to look through them unless you are looking directly at a light.

They meet 2015 safety requirements of ISO do they meet 3017 requirements?

These were great glasses that fit all of the safety requirements and FUN requirements for the solar eclipse. Yes, they meet the 3017 requirements!

What tips did nasa provide to test the glasses?

Hi Chrissy, if you google NASA Solar Eclipse glasses, they give very specific criteria that the glasses should meet. These glasses meet all criteria and also posts their certificate of compliance. I spent over 3 hours researching glasses and found this company provided the most detailed information.
