A phenomenal piece of art
The best book I listened this year. A life changing book. I would like to thank the author for the effort and time devoted to create this amazing book. I am going to listen this book again and again. And use it as much as possible.

Avoid the audio book
This is not an audio book. It's a collection of speeches with fairly terrible sound quality and dodgy music. Although the 'author' is someone who specialises in giving speeches his voice is monotonous. He sounds like the comedian Rhys Darby; without the jokes. I think he might actually has something worth saying, if he was more succinct in a paper version but avoid the the audio. And he should avoid constantly referencing how you can cure cancer just by thinking about it...

Interesting
Good content but the audio is a collection of the author public speeches. I would have liked it more if it was better structured. But still an interesting one.

Bad music makes it unlistenable
God alive I can't make it through the fist chapter. I REALLY want to listen to this book but the incessant awful music in the background is so distracting I've had to turn it off. What were they thinking?!

Background music makes it impossible for me to listen to
Honestly, I was really looking forward to this but simply couldn't get into it because the irritating elevator music in the background. It sounds like a 5 year old with a guitar. If I wanted music playing in the background I can easily play some, but this dross ruined the content for me.

Excellent Read
Excellent Read. I first bought & listened to the audio book. I was so impressed that I also book this paperback version. Dr. Hall give so much information & explains many things that is going on in the body when we are exposed to different situations & the after-affects. If you are a person that likes to have choices, to be able to make informed decisions, and have more power & control over your own life & body...then this is a must read book.Dr. Hall explains how what we think & react to different situations affects our health & our body's ability to stay healthy. Why we make choices that do us harm. Why people choose to stay in hum-drum jobs instead of going for a promotion or a better job. So many explanations to list here. This was an eye-opening experience for me. I related in so many ways to what is presented in this book. This book is one of the pivoting points in my life. It is helping me make better decisions & choices. How to stay calm & in control in stressful situations. This is a book that I will refer back to time & time again.Thank you Dr. Hall for writing this book but especially for making the audio recording of this book. I probably would have never read it if I have not started listening to the audio book first.

Highly insightful.
Very insightful. Every page had useful information and the book contained many real-life examples. Recommended for anyone who always asks "why do I do ..." or, better, keep it on hand when your friends and family ask you to help them figure out why THEY do whatever it is. This book will definitely help.

Nick Hall Is Knowledgable and Personable
I bought this book after hearing Dr. Hall speak in Orlando. He was engaging, as is his book. He admits to saving us the time/effort to read actual research, does become scientifically technical in a few spots, but interweaves the physiological and psychological masterfully. Enjoy!

Simply amazing
For so long I thought I might be lazy to not go after my dreams despite the fact that I'm constantly in motion busying myself. Dr. Hall lays out in his CDs the complexities that might have attributed to not fulfilling these goals, thus suddenly forcing me to confront the challenges he intelligently explains. I only wish I bought his CDs sooner.

Don’t Order This
This is definitely a misprint. The cover says it’s the right book, but when you open it the title is Samson X-file; a religious book.
