I am grateful to an Amazon customer for giving me positive feedback on this phone. I decided to go for it and I a hugely satisfied. For me, all the electronic refinements like phone book etc. are things I don't need, things I can do without. Cordless phones also may not be safe on account of the radiation they emit, which can be harmful, if the reports on this are be believed.This phone is perfect for me. Very inexpensive, with all the basic features you expect from a phoneIt is wall mountable, which is convenient and saves space.There is a slight ridge, which keeps the receiver from slipping off when it is wall mounted.There is a slight ridge on top, when it is wall mounted, on which you can hang the phone temporarily, without disconnecting it.You can change the ringer volume. Or you can switch off the ringer, when you don't want to take calls from telemarketers, or when you want to go to sleep.It does not have caller blocking - to block calls from bothersome people like telemarketeers. However, call-blocking is an advanced feature available only on electronic phones.Very good buy for the price.Some negative points: the booklet says you need to keep the phone in a room where the temperature does not exceed 40 degrees Centigrade or fall below 5 degrees Centigrade.In a place like Delhi, in the height of summer the temperature does exceed 40 degrees centigrade. In winter, it may fall below 5 degrees centigrade.So, what happens when the phone is in fact exposed to those temperatures?

Branded product. Good product at this rate.but packing not upto the standard of Panasonic. The supplier should packed in amazon cover not done.

Bought 2 (white) of these for around Rs. 750 each. Good quality and finish. Not light and flimsy like most entry level phones and do not get dragged very easily (a relief). Very good quality plastics and buttons. Substantial in size and presence. Look posh and good on the desk, suit the work place. Can be comfortably placed on the desk or mounted on the wall (with the help of a special attachment provided behind for changing the placement angle). Very good sound. The opposite party also hears clearly. Using it with an intercom. Very good phone instruments.

Everything is proper, build quality to sound quality. Far better than betel.

This is a basic and budget phone from a known good brand. It works without battery/power means you can talk without having fear of power-cut and so phone disconnect. It's made of cheap material but good nice and have flat look. Thank you Amazon and Panasonic :)
