Garlic Peeler Works Well
Important first point: This "electric garlic peeler" is made in China and ships from China, so let the buyer beware. Second: We generally avoid a purchase of this type (from China), but its associated information/descriptions seemed positive. Third: Having received it only a few days ago (September 2025), we've used it only once -- to peel raw garlic cloves. We placed about 15-20 cloves in the machine and turned it on. To our surprise, the machine did quite a good job of peeling the cloves in about a minute or a bit longer. We peeled two "loads" this way. We placed a small tray under the discharge chute during the peeling process and it's good we did so, because the machine ejected some of the garlic peels during the peel cycle. We removed the peeled cloves by hand instead of using the ejection process/chute -- pretty simple to do. The centrifugal force of the spinning blades during the peeling process throw peels on the side on the bowl, but they're easily scraped off using a soft spatula. The entire body and parts, except for the peeling blades, are made of plastic, so they're very easy to clean with soap and water. As is typical with such devices, the USB charging cable is quite short, but the power unit charged very quickly on first use -- it possibly was partially charged upon our receipt of the package. So far, so good, and the peeler worked pretty well for us. Hope that continues.
