These work fast and the 500mg dose is noticeably more effective than the regular strength version. I deal with bloating fairly frequently and keeping these around has made a real difference. The softgels are easy to swallow and do not have a bad taste. They kick in within about 15 to 20 minutes in my experience. The 20 count is a good size to keep in your bag or medicine cabinet. If you have ever felt like regular Gas-X was not quite enough, these are worth trying.

I used to take two of the 250mg but now... I only have to take one pill! Yeah. These do work to help when you are having those painful stabby (gas) pains. The relief was good, but not dramatically faster than some other simethicone products I’ve tried, so the “ultimate strength” claim feels slightly overstated. Overall, they work well enough when I need gas relief, but I don’t find them significantly better than standard options to make them a must‑buy every time.
