This is not a large mezzaluna. It is perfect for chopping herbs, onions, garlic, etc on a cutting board. That was exactly what I needed and it does the job quite well. I have used those small messy appliances for chopping onions because my sons like the onions very tiny but they either never worked or were very messy to clean. This is simple and having learned to cook with one as a girl found it easy to return to cooking basics. Some people prefer a good knife, but I never learned to handle on so easily. I can chop onions with this mezzaluna long before I start to cry.

Listen. I absolutely love this! It makes chopping my favorite veggies (Brussels sprouts, cabbage and bell peppers) so much easier. I chopped up Brussels sprouts for a new to me recipe that needed them to be shredded. It called for them to be put into a food processor which I don’t have. So I got this handy dandy thing out and gave it a try. It worked magnificently. I have a lot of pain in my hands and wrists but I’m able to use this with no problems.

The chopper is nice and perfect size but not very sharp. It works great for herbs because is cuts/crushes and brings the oils and essences out of the herbs. Not ideal for fruits or vegetables because of how dull it is, but still works.

My mother used to have one of these. Then I saw one on an old Nigella episode and had to have one. It arrived fast. It came in plastic packaging. It seemed sturdy-ish but I didn’t think it was sharp enough so I sharpened mine. It cuts easily and fast. I was able to mince cilantro in 30 seconds. This is a great buy and a great price because these can be expensive. I wish it came with a cover but it’s easy to clean and I just wipe it dry and store in a drawer.

Quality is just Ok. Not sure the blade will hold it is not quality steel. I got mine for nine bucks so i should have expected this little 6 3/4 inch Mezzaluna try ~! It just has that dollar store feel to it.

What an awesome chopper! I only use it for chopping bagged salad into bite size pieces so as not to look like a slob in front of dinner guests. lol I only wish it came with a blade cover. I've just been using the package it came in with rubber bands to store it. It's pretty sharp, does a nice job and is easy to use and clean up. Love it!

This is the perfect cutting tool for my purpose. I like to cut up my low carb chocolate bars into small pieces and using a regular knife was a tedious process and did not feel as safe as this tool. I was able to cut up the bar lickety split. The wooden handles are great to grip and makes it feel very sturdy and the blade is very sharp right now of course. I wonder for how long it will remain that way. The price was pretty good too...happy purchase.

Buen producto, lo unico que si se expusiera de manera mas clara el tamaño del producto, ya que el taño que pesaba no lo era, ya que es mas pequeño, pero en cuanto a su funcionalidad es muy buena, como sugerencia al fabricante seria el que afilara mas la hoja de la cuchilla ya que no es suficiente con la que viene.

I was really disappointed that this product didn’t hold well. After one use the blade has rusted and the wooden handles are splintering. Very poorly made.
