While I'm sure this is a great product (albeit a tad expensive) it did not fit my application. The description says it fits a Honda EU3000i. I does NOT however fit a Honda EU3000i handi. Returned for full refund.

I have this kit for the EU7000IS (same kit). I use it with a 25 gallon marine fuel tank. The kit works flawlessly. I have used it for approximately 300 hours so far. It keeps the tank on the generator approximately 75 percent full. When the fuel level goes below this level the kit draws fuel from the auxiliary tank until it is above 75% full. It works exactly as described as the manufacturer. One thing the picture doesn't show is where the vacuum line attaches at the oil fill port. At first it seemed that I wouldn't be able to close the side door to the generator but with a little effort (and once the hose warmed up) j was able to shape it just enough for the angle to allow the door to close with a little effort. This keeps the generator as quiet as stock. I use this setup on a 40' fifth wheel trailer with two 15k AC units. With the built in 5 gal tank and auxiliary 25gal tank the unit will run continuously for about 72 hours during the summer with both AC units running continuously or 96+ hours when the AC units only run intermittently. My RV also has a residential refrigerator that pulls 1000 watts continuously. I highly recommend this kit. Not waking up multiple times at night to fill the gas tank makes it worth every penny!
