What I received was a continuous 360 degree rotation and not self centering servo. cannot be used as rc car steering servo.
The servo I received was continuously rotating 360 degrees and not self centering.There is no where in the product description written about this.I ordered this to use as as steering servo on a rc car. Due to this behavior of servo, it cannot be used on the car.Giving 2 star because I don't want to return the item, I could source some parts from this servo.

i have purchased this mg996r servo motor before 1 month its working properly but now it's suddenly damage it's gear don't purchase this motor it's cheap

360 servo / continuos servo was delivered
I couldn't find a 360 degree servo named MG996R from tower pro website. The wire colors are also different, including the sticker font. WOndering if its even original. But luckily I have been searching for this kind of servo. So I can take the disappointment. Even the speed doesn't seem consistent under no load. If you are using default arduino servo library, myservo.write(pos); pos=90-100/stall, pos>100 rotate, pos<90 rotate in opposite. The gears look metallic.
