TYC Cabin Air Filter Compatible with 2000-2008 Honda S2000

It doesn't get much better than this. It's a paper element filter - the Honda paper doesn't seem any better than the paper on this filter....why pay Honda prices. I love my S2000, but I swear Honda sees them as spare parts gold mines. To the point of the reviewer who said the air flow arrow is going the wrong direction - I tried to pay attention, but it was pretty self explanatory. Just put the foam ring of the filter towards the plastic housing it goes into. I honestly didn't even pay attention to the air flow arrow and I had that "error" on the back of my mind. I re-installed the assembly and went for a ride. The air quality immediately seemed much better. This is simply a great product. The cost is just right, the performance is everything I would want out of it, it shipped fast and was a direct-fit installation.

For the S2000 owners, you can get these instead of OEM and it will work just as well. Fits nicely and air filtration seems to be doing its job when I drive. Nice since these filters can be replaced whenever at this cost.

Please note the only time I replace my air filter is when the AC smells kind of funky for the first few minutes of turning it on and eventually goes away. I bought this with the expectation it would remove the odor smell. After installing this I expected the smell to go completely away, but oddly enough the smell is still around and I've been driving close to 1000 miles on it so far. May not be the filter's fault. Installation was simple, you pop the old filter out of its cartridge holder and pop this new in. Fit fine and did not feel flimsy or loose. If the odor is unrelated to the filter then I would rate it 5/5

Fit and functional

Like the description says, this is a cabin air filter for a Honda S2000. It looks and installs just like the OEM one. I have nothing to complain about. The overall quality seems close to OEM. Air flow from vents seems to have maintained its factory performance. Filter seems to be good value for money against an OEM replacement part.

It looks and performs just like Honda's OEM filter, fits into original filtrate holder perfectly, sealing is the same, filters exhaust fume and outside odour just the same. Hugh saving over genuine Honda filter, and I am sure they are exactly the same thing. I was stupid enough to had a Honda dealer changed my filter last time and they charged approx. US$83 for the job that I could now do in 15 mins. I bought two just to try it out, now I have decided to stock up on them. I can even replace the filter more frequently from the saving I got. Recommended for all S2000 owners.

I've used this filter for about 5 years now, changing annually. It's not a HEPA filter, but the car is a convertible, so good filtration isn't really the point. The car lives in storage all winter and is only out for the nice weather. Still, it does filter the air and I can tell a difference when I replace it at the beginning of the season.
