Work amazing as soon as you unlatch the hood it raises itself very strong shocks after I installed one side the hood stayed up on its own. For the price alone there unbeatable.. and they do exactly what you need them to. Easy to install also only took 2 minutes for both sides

My old struts only worked when the weather was warm and on perfectly level ground. Even then I still had to use the old hockey stick method to keep the hood from dropping on my head. If you have the same thing going on, it's time to face it...they're shot. Time to replace them. Get these struts! They are super strong, so not only do they hold the hood up completely stable, they actually relieve the weight as you lift the hood and do most of the lifting. That's more like it! Easy to install. Just insert the lower end first and then lift your hood as high as needed to align the upper end. Takes longer to get the old ones off than it does to install these.

Arrived in good condition and when expected. Takes about 5 minutes to change out. Seem to be quite strong as they can push up and hold a heavy hood. Hope they have longevity.
