Well we must say this turned out much better than we anticipated I mean far beyond what we were thinking upon delivery.... Very easy to use and for the most part everything is easy to clean because you are just using one part for water but the filter/strainer that comes with the pot can be hard to get grounded tea leaves or ground coffee beans out of it at times but I guess that means it is doing good job not letting anything through... well made very sturdy everything is stainless steel so there should be no rust ever and very appealing to the eye..... The story on the back of the box is kind of heartwarming about the owner and his wife with pictures of directions on the side of the box... My only complaint is that no directions came besides the pictures also there are no pot or container that came with this so finding something 4 the filter to fit in was a bit difficult .. but overall even though the spout dripper and thermometer are stainless steel it is still somehow very light and actually holds more water than it looks... So we would definitely recommend this to a big tea or coffee drinker because although it is a little more complex then other types it is well worth what you get out of it!!!

Let me start off by saying this is absolutely heavenly. Now that I have made coffe using this, there is no going back!!! I was settling for what I thought was coffee. This makes the most amazing, smooth, rich and flavorful cup of coffee, not anything that my keurig could make. The amount of coffee varies depending on how you like yours, I settled on one scoop. It comes with a FREE life time warranty. It has such a sleek look to it, it's so very easy to use and just as easy to clean. Definitely make sure that you clean it out with warm water and soap. I also boiled some water in it and then poured it through the dripper to help clean it more. I love the little built in thermometer, it tells you when your water is at the perfect temp to brew your coffee and the goose neck makes it easy to control your pour. I wish I would have found this sooner!!! Now I don't have to go to Starbucks etc to get a great cup of coffee, I just go to my kitchen!!! Definitely will be recommending to my friends and family!!!

This kettle is nice looking and functional, but I'm taking off one star because the exterior bottom has developed some black spots that I'm worried will either turn into rust or, even worse, begin to leak. For now, I'm keeping a close watch on the spots. Other than the spots, the kettle heats up water as it should and the thermometer is working great and is accurate. I like the stainless steel finish and it looks great sitting out on my stove. I use it daily. The filter works great! The price was worth it for the nice filter alone. The coffee flows through pretty quickly and, so far, it's continuing to do so. I use a paper filter in mine, but that's only to make clean up easier. The manufacturer offers a lifetime warranty which you can sign up for on their website, but I've been trying to register and it keeps searching for my order and never finishes the search. I'm hoping if the spots get any worse that they'll replace it under warranty, assuming the site ever finds and confirms my order.

This kettle is awesome. It is aesthetically pleasing and looks great sitting on my stove. It makes a delicious cup of coffee. I am looking forward to learning more about pour over coffee and perfecting my pouring methods. I love the thermometer on the top of the kettle which makes it very easy to know when the water is at the perfect temperature. The cleanliness of this kettle is also a plus in our household. My husband has been worried recently about what may be growing inside our Keurig. This eliminates that worry.The only thing that I see that could be improved is more detailed instructions for how to use it for a beginning "pourer".Looking forward to sharing the Pour Over Coffee with my friends.

The welds do not hold up. Water coming out from around the base and spout. Only use this to boil water for pour over coffee. Never been “too hot”. This is the 2nd one that’s done this. Would not buy again.

I don't know if it was designed that way or if it is defective, but you have to hold it to make it stable while you pour the water over the grounds. I don't see any way to tighten it. It's just loose where it connects to its base and wobbles in all directions when you use it. The kettle is working fine so far.

I was a little skeptical when I first took kettle and filter from the box. I couldn’t find instructions inside, they were on the outside of the box and not very detailed. I did the best I could and experimented with making a cup of coffee and it turned out very well. I heated the water in the kettle until it started boiling and steam started coming out, which was less than 5 minutes on med high. I made sure before pouring that the temperature on the thermometer was at 195 degrees before pouring. The water was not scalding or too warm. I used one heaping teaspoon of coffee in the filter and it was strong enough for me. To my surprise it turned out to be a delicious cup of coffee. I suggest if anyone wants stronger or weaker, adjust amount of coffee grounds as needed. It is best to pour water slowly into dripper for best results. If more than one cup is needed you will have to use a decanter that holds more than one cup of liquid and measure the amount of water to put in kettle and add the number of teaspoons of coffee or tea to the metal filter. This is a great product if you have time and not in a hurry. The taste is much better than coffee made in the Keurig or other coffee makers. I love that no additional filter is needed, very easy to clean. The built in thermometer is so useful so liquid will not be too hot and scalding. I’ve made many cups of coffee and tea also, each time the taste is so smooth and good. I do recommend this coffee kettle, it is great product.The only suggestion I have is to have more detailed instructions inside box.

Very easy to use and I love the kettle design. The filter leaves a metallic flavor and clogs easily however.
