these are nice and there is metal under the plastic which makes for a sturdier kitchen tool

Love these - the full silicone is perfect for throwing in the dishwasher. I had some that had handles with metal - complete mess after a year. Go for this brand. I’ve had for 2 months now and I’m so happy with them. The ladle is great! Also, I leave on the side of the pan all the time and they don’t melt!

My main issue with all of my purchased D'Ora is that they come out of the dishwasher with white spots. Yes, I use Jet Dry and increased the amount of rinse agent from 1 to 4 that goes into the rinse cycle, and still spots. I have to rinse and hand dry. Also, the terrycloth towel leaves tiny fuzzy marks. My dish towel has been washed and put through the dryer at least 20 times. For the amount of money these cost, this should not happen. As utensils, they work great, but over-priced even on sale. I will be changing previous review on my past purchase to 4 stars. One more thing, the ladle is quite large, bigger than the picture. I wanted a much smaller ladle for my smaller pots. This won't be used much by me now.

These utensils are great! We have been through many others and even though it’s a smaller family business their product quality is something far beyond a company that has been around for many more years. Their lifetime warranty is unmatched if there ever is an issue with a utensil

I first bought a Di Oro spatula/spoon and it was fantastic, so I’ve chosen Di Oro utensils to replace my plastic utensils. They are of excellent quality, great balance, work better than any other brands I’ve tried. Good length of handle - long enough to be comfortable, sturdy, strong, good for stirring hearty stews, lentils, etc. I bought my first Di Oro spatula a year ago and it’s still like new. I like the classic black. I’m collecting every utensil they do.

I ordered these to replace some black plastic utensils after an article stated they could be full of toxins (this article has since been clarified, so you may want to do some research and fact checking before making a decision). Boy I'm glad I did though. I never though I would take pleasure from using a kitchen utensil, but here I am. Each one is weighted and feels sturdy with a thick silicone skin. The slight flexibility of the silicone allows each utensil to be used a little like a spatula to get every last bit of food. They are easy to clean by hand, and just feel nice, ya know? My partner likes the heft for some reason, and will twirl them around before using them (idk why, he's an odd duck). Yes, they are expensive, but they should last a lifetime with good care, and I do feel good knowing that the silicone is safe. These would be a nice gift as well. If I ever need to replace my existing silicone spatulas (with wooden/metal handles) I would definitely buy this brand to replace them, then my partner can do even more twirling.
