Quality is better than cheaper products
The DJI Mic 3 is by far the best mics I’ve used. They are also thus far the most expensive. They have a better sound quality and over all function better than the cheaper versions I’ve used. I really like the magnetic clips and how they can be turned so the mic faces your mouth. They are light and easy to use. Compared to the DJI Mic 2 they are much more compact so they hide in clothing better if you don’t want them to be seen. I would recommend them to anyone if they are willing to spend the extra money.

Crisp, Reliable, and Worth Every Dollar.
I’m really impressed with the DJI Mic 3. The sound quality is clear, crisp, and professional, even in noisy environments. Setup was quick and easy, and the connection has been very stable with no dropouts. The battery life is excellent, which makes it perfect for long recordings, interviews, and content creation. The build quality feels solid and premium, and the compact design makes it easy to carry anywhere. Overall, this mic delivers outstanding performance and is absolutely worth the investment. Highly recommended.

Crisp, Compact, and Creator-Ready: DJI Mic 3 Shines for Pro-Level Audio
🎤 First Impressions & Design From the moment I unpacked the DJI Mic 3, I was struck by how sleek and compact the system is. The transmitters weigh in at just ~16 g (with the magnet), making them incredibly light and discreet to wear. The receiver is also compact and nicely finished, with a 1.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen and a rotating dial that make adjustments intuitive. The included charging case is elegant and functional—everything nests cleanly, and the case itself acts as an extended battery bank. The build quality feels premium throughout. None of the parts feel cheap or overly plasticky. The magnetic clips, removable via magnets, add versatility in how you mount or angle the transmitters. ⸻ 🎧 Connectivity & Compatibility One of the strong suits of the Mic 3 is how it connects across devices. It supports: • A locking 3.5mm TRS output for cameras and other gear • A 3.5mm TRRS monitoring/line output • USB-C for direct digital connects • Bluetooth 5.4 for direct pairing with phones (iPhone, etc.) Because of this range of connectivity, I had no trouble hooking the Mic 3 into my Pocket 3, ZV-E10 / M2, and iPhone 16 Pro. It “just works” across platforms. DJI also touts integration with their OsmoAudio ecosystem, allowing certain DJI cameras to pair directly with transmitters (bypassing the receiver) when desired. ⸻ 🔊 Audio Quality & Features Clarity & Reliability The audio is impressively clear, with excellent detail and natural tone. Voices come through crisp without harshness, even when slightly off-axis. I tested in various environments—indoors, outdoors, in echo-prone rooms—and the performance held up. 32-bit Float + Dual-File Recording Each transmitter supports internal recording in dual-file mode (24-bit + 32-bit float). This gives a safety net against clipping—if peaks happen, the float track can save the day. Transmitters include 32 GB of storage. Adaptive Gain, Voice Presets & Noise Cancelling The Mic 3 introduces adaptive gain control (Automatic and Dynamic modes) to help prevent distortion from sudden loud spikes. Additionally, there are voice tone presets (e.g. Regular, Rich, Bright) so you can tailor the sonic character on the fly. A two-level active noise cancellation option helps reduce ambient interference (air conditioning, background hum) without sabotaging the core vocal. Range & Stability Wireless range claims are up to 400 m line-of-sight. In practice, even with moderate obstructions, the signal held steady at the typical distances I use (within studio, outdoors, etc.). The dual-band (2.4 + 5.8 GHz) frequency hopping helps avoid interference in congested RF environments. Timecode / Multi-Camera Capabilities For creators working multi-camera shoots, DJI supports up to 4 transmitters per receiver and linking of multiple receivers (up to 8). Timecode support is included to help sync audio across multiple units and makes it easier to integrate into editing workflows. ⸻ ⏱️ Battery Life & Practical Use • Transmitters: ~10 hours (under typical usage) • Receiver: ~8 hours • With the charging case, total usable time extends to ~28 hours. • The quick-charge capability is useful: a short ~5-minute top-up gives ~2 hours of added runtime. In my use, I rarely ran out of battery mid-session, even on longer shoots. The case is also handy as a portable charger when I’m traveling or filming away from power sources. ⸻ 👍 Pros & 👎 Cons (Why I Gave It 5 Stars) Pros • Outstanding audio clarity and tonal character • Internal recording ensures redundancy and safety • Compact, lightweight transmitters that are comfortable for extended periods • Seamless multi-device connectivity (camera, phone, etc.) • Robust wireless range and interference avoidance • Feature-rich — adaptive gain, voice presets, noise cancellation, timecode, multi-transmitter support • Strong battery life and practical charging case Cons • The transmitters are lighter than some premium, heavier mics; holding a “heftier” mic still gives a satisfying physical feel • No 3.5mm input on the transmitters (i.e. you can’t plug in an external lavalier to them) — something some professionals may miss. • For users already deeply invested in mic systems, the switch to Mic 3 demands adaptation • As of now, US availability is still somewhat uncertain (depending on region/distributor) None of these drawbacks feel like deal breakers to me given how strong the overall package is. ⸻ 🎯 Final Thoughts & Use Cases For content creators, vloggers, filmmakers, podcasters, and anyone needing reliable wireless audio across multiple platforms, the DJI Mic 3 is a standout. Its balance of portability, features, and audio fidelity is superb. It particularly shines when you want one mic system to handle camera work and direct-to-phone audio. Connecting to Pocket 3, ZV-E10/M2, and iPhone 16 Pro with minimal fuss, all with consistent quality, is a luxury. The internal recording backup gives peace of mind, especially in unpredictable shoot conditions. If you prioritize a bit more weight or want lav mic inputs on transmitters, this may not fully replace every tool in your kit. But for most creators, it’s close to ideal — a 5-star audio companion.

I'm in love with this mic
I am blown away by the DJI Mic 3. This is my first ever microphone that I've invested in and I am so happy I went with this. I film in my small apartment which has a wall AC and air purifier that you can hear blasting through any mic. The noise cancellation feature built directly into the mic is a game and life changer. It auto manages those insanely loud background noises with ease. It's like it was edited by a professional except I didn't do any work apart from ensuring the noise cancellation mode is on. What a dream. For the quality it brings, it is incredibly compact, portable, and surprisingly light weight with all the accessories in the pouch. Super easy to store in bags. It's compatible with my mirrorless camera, smart phone, and other DJI products that I have. The built-in features is incredibly versatile, meaning, there's a lot it can help you with audio-wise. It feels high quality and made well, like I'm proud to own one and wear on my chest. Only thing is that the DJI logo on the mic is pretty prominent--more conspicuous than its mini counterpart. But I've found that since it works so well, I don't mind wearing the brand loud and proud. Again, I'm in love with this mic. If you're on the fence about getting it, don't be. This is the mic you should settle on. Also, the learning curve was not too steep. Make sure you download the corresponding app to get all the instructional videos. Once you've played around with it and watched the videos, it becomes rather intuitive to use.

Highly recommend!
Bought DJI Mini 3 as a secondary mic set, to substitute my previous R0DE GO II, damaged on fall. I was surprised on how much more I would rely on it in everyday situations. Even though it yields in quality to my primary set(Sennheiser EW-DP ME 4 ); However, the ease of use (I can set it up in under 15 seconds!), surprisingly clear connectivity (even in seriously congested environments), unparalleled, support for smart, sophisticated features (like Timecode), redundancy (ability to record units own , even without connection to Rx device!) make this unit unexpectedly versatile and preferred wireless mice set - with great quality, ease-of-use, highly mobile and portable, with support of features, previously expected to find only in high-end devices! A worthy member of the DJI Family and a Must Have for anyone in DJI Ecosystem! Cheers! 👍😉🎉

Great for Multi-Person Narration
Works well for recording narration of our historical walking tour. The noise suppression is very effective. The transmitters are small and intrusive. Well made and should be durable.

Good but not perfect
Good mics if you need a portable option for content creation. The mics are sensitive though, I wish there was a way to adjust the sensitivity as they can pick you up breathing which can be kind of annoying in your recordings. Connects easily to DJI Action 6. I use the reciever when connecting to my phone because it provide better audio that way than using bluetooth. The receiver also allows me to use my native camera app for recordings. Is it perfect? No. But it will do the job for when you need a mic.
