They do compress. But I didn’t get any further relief from my archilles tendonitis

My wife bought these after bunion surgery for the swelling that can last more than 6 months. She needed compression around the base of the toes and these did the trick beautifully. She wears size 7 wide shoe, and bought L/XL. Good compression. A little pricey compared to other brands here, but most others provide ankle compression, not toe-base compression for after surgery. We are buying a second pair as she's had the other foot done recently.

I have gone through many compression socks due to my ankles swelling for the past 2 years. The ones I had ordered from another company no longer had them available on Amazon so I was hoping these would work. I have to say I am a little disappointed with these. Although they were easy to put on and were comfortable, they gave very little compression for me. They are better than the other pair I had ordered from somewhere else but I would say these socks give the smallest amount of compression. If you are look for just some compression then these should be ok but if you are looking for me then these are not it. They are also much thinner than the ones I had.
