I believe that he "official" TSA policy is that if the tool when fully opened exceeds 4 inches, it will be confiscated. Of course, it all depends on the individual doing the inspection at the moment, because they have final say in the matter. Personally, I think that this is too expensive an item to take the chance on. Just another way to remind us evert time that we travel that 9/11 is still haunting us, and probebly always will be.
