Wish I Had Found This Earlier
After doing some research on the company that makes these, I was impressed that they are made right here in the good old USA and not China. I wanted to support companies who employ our own people and don't mind spending a bit more in order to do that. The pan does a great job for us on one particular dish that we make often. It appears to heat evenly at medium heat and cleanup after that recipe is a breeze. We used it for another meal and things stuck to it a bit more. I got online to see how the manufacturer recommends cleaning it and followed their directions. It came out beautifully. I am glad to have invested in this and look forward to a long "relationship" with a quality piece of cooking equipment.

Love this pan!
I love this pan! When we switched over from 20 year old and very worn out non-stick cookware, I started our collection with this saute pan. It still gets used more than all the other fine stainless pieces we have now as it does just about everything we need (other than eggs, I use carbon steel for eggs).

It's okay, way over rated.
This is a decent pan but it is nowhere near the quality of a 50 year old Revereware pan. I don't know where they are shortchanging the alloy for the stainless steel used in this pan but I suspect that the steel has a Chinese origin because CHINA cannot make a decent stainless steel. This pan stained on the first use, isn't easy to actually get clean and scratches badly from the gas grate. The rivets are not properly set and that allows food to get stuck under the heads and they are not easily cleaned. It did cook pretty good and the food itself did not stick to the pan. It heated evenly and I liked using the pan and lid. I mean I'm just glad my mother taught me how to use stainless those many years ago. Overall I consider this to to be $40 pan with a $100 worth of hype attached to it. Most of the modern stainless steel that I have been trying is too soft and easily stained and scratched. So far none of it has been worth the price paid. Save some money, shop local. It's all the same Chinesium junk. Better yet, find some vintage American made stainless at a thrift store. I just won't be buying anymore Eater Brand stainless.

Pantastic
After being real adults who cook almost every night for 20 years, we finally decided to upgrade our cookware from the college collection. We're proficient cooks; my wife was a professional baker in a previous era of life. We wanted to invest into cookware that our kids will cherish when we die. Rather than buying a 'set' with a bunch of pieces we won't use, we are buying individual pieces that we know we will use often. This 4qt saute is exactly what we wanted. The heat distribution is great, cleanup is easy as long as you are cooking correctly. It looks and feels fantastic. No doubt, the kids will want this one.
