Nothing happened
Nothing happened. I started off with one at night and a glass of water. Nothing happened. I moved up to two at night with a glass of water, nothing happened. I was as regular as I was before, nothing changed except late night number one runs to the ladies (probably the glass of water). It did not cleanse anything out, it is not fiber so it did not improve consistency. Absolutely nothing changed.

Effective with one pill
Worked well within a few hours. I have senna tea which is 5x more concentrated than what is in this pill, but the combination of senna and cascara are great. I am very sensitive to senna so the lower dosage in the capsule is good. Senna and cascara are herbs that are not meant to be taken long term, no more than a few days.Everybody will react differently to herbal supplements. This was not too harsh but had 3 bowel movements that day from one capsule. First one was 5 hours after taking the capsule and the last one was 12 hours. In contrast, I have Pure For Her which has psyllium husk, aloe gel powder, black chia seed powder and flaxseed 1500mg, but more of a natural digestive support with a slight laxative effect. It takes 3 capsules a day and a week for it to be effective for me. They have similar ingredients, except it doesn’t have the senna or cascara. In therory I could just drink the senna tea but it caused mild cramping, I even diluted it with 36 oz of water! This pill offers a more well rounded formula.

Extremely effective
First and foremost, I view this product as a pretty natural and healthy laxative. Due to my current low-carb diet, it's pretty helpful to be able to get things moving along in my digestive system.Relying on the instructions, I took a single pill each day for four days (you can use a more aggressive approach, but they recommend you do this the first time, and I think I'll stick with this). About 24 hours after the first dose, I learned these pills are extremely, shockingly effective. That's not much of a surprise, as these pills contain a lot of well known natural laxatives, like MCT oil, licorice, psyllium husk, aloe concentrate, and even a probiotic. Each subsequent day saw a greatly diminished effect, but something.Does this kind of thing actually help prevent colon cancer, instigate weight loss, or rid your body of toxins? I think there probably are some health benefits, but I also think a lot of those claims are exaggerated and not supported by research. I definitely felt a lot better. Weight loss was not significant after the full course was completed and a week had passed. Due to my impression that these pills are quite powerful, I'll wait a couple of months before trying another course (as the label recommends) and I won't increase the dosage. Be careful as laxatives can form a kind of dependency. But I feel pretty good about using these, as they are natural ingredients and are highly effective. I do think that if you listen to your body you might decide, like me, that it was healthy to use these, even if the totality of the health benefit claims are probably unrealistic.

Something Going On, But the Jury is Still Out
I've not used colon cleansing pills before, so I don't have anything to compare. However, after taking these pills for several nights in a row, I can say I do feel them doing something. It's hard to explain, but you can feel it going through your plumbing, so to speak. It's not really harsh, but the feeling is there. Maybe it's comparable to a mild laxative? For two reasons I'm not wild about these pills: First, taking one or two of these pills at night with 8 ounces of water means you'll probably wake up once or twice to use the bathroom during the night (due to the water). It did bother my sleep a bit. Second, after doing some research, the jury is still out on whether it's good to cleanse your colon like this or not. I'll ask my doctor the next time I go in.Anyway, it is hard to rate these pills. I can feel something happening, but I'm not sure if they are working nor am I sure if they are good for me.

Pretty mild, which I prefer
This is more of a probiotic/prebiotic supplement that helps with digestion. It's more than having some yogurt every day, but less than a laxative.

Look for another brand!
Took this consistently every day and found no change. This is not a very good quality product

Clean as a whistle?!?
The thing about suppliments is that i’ts hard to gage if they're working unless you have blood work done before and after. In the case of these pills, I suppose you could have before and after colonoscopies but I’m not certain that would give you a clear picture (no pun intended) My eating habits didn’t need much modifying prior to taking these pills, so I can’t say that i’ve noticed any changes (good, bad, or otherwise) On the plus side there haven’t been any adverse side effects so thats a good sign. Any Doctor will recommend that if you really want to make sure your colon is doing it’s job effectively, one should start with proper food choices and eliminate anything that will cause complications. Simple enough. So the millon dollar question is do these work? I feel that they might be, but I have no concrete evidence.
