This laptop is the best I've had yet in this price range. Just turned it on and it did it's thing loading up everything. Doesn't come with a product key for Windows 11, but turns out it's embedded in either the motherboard or bios. Followed the troubleshooting steps in settings and it automatically activated it. Very satisfied with this unit.

I have been a Dell user for 15+ years. Never have I ever experienced the issues that I did with this laptop. Upon initial startup, our IT support ran the typical uploads/updates as prompted by the laptop. Once the uploads were completed and installed, the monitor (display) crashed repeatedly. It was so bad, you could not even turn on the laptop. I powered up the laptop but there was no logo, no vios, nothing, just a black screen. Sometimes you would here the Windows chime, but more often you wouldn't. After 8 days of trying to get the display to work, I gave up and arranged to return the laptop. I am not saying this model is not good. For all I know, this particular laptop could have just been a lemon. Perhaps it was a bug with the Windows 11 drivers, Intel graphics board, or Dell's drivers. I do not know for certain. What I do know is I have been unable to get my work done and with each passing day, I am falling further and further behind on my deadlines. I have multiple videos but this review will only allow one video per review.

on turning the machine on and simply running a browser, no programs, the unit ran so hot the keyboard was uncomfortable to the touch. we felt is was a fire hazard. But the seller is very very responsive and kind and worked hard to make it right by either refund or replacement. Would purchase again. These things happen. Update Working with the seller has been an excellent experience. We successfully returned the unit and purchased an identical one to replace it from the same seller and have had no issues since so far. Communicative and a good experience. Thank you.

Everything is just as described except windows wasnt licensed. I am assuming due to the hard drive upgrade, had to use the dell image recovery tool to re-install Windows right out of the box so that the device was licensed correctly using the OEM MFG license.
