The quality construction of our clippers and trimmers delivers a smooth clip, trim, or shave every time. Please oil blades before use. Product in packaging may not be the same as photo due to continuous improvements to the product. This clipper runs off of a 120v outlet. If your hair clipper has a power screw, it has been adjusted for peak efficiency before leaving the factory. However, if voltage in your home is low, you may need to re adjust it. To adjust power screw, use the plastic brush, a screwdriver or a thin coin to turn power screw in a clockwise direction until the arm strikes the coil, making a noise. Then, slowly turn power screw out (counterclockwise), just until noise stops. This is the maximum power setting. Note: We test our Wahl hair clippers for men for cutting performance prior to packaging with a hygienic fiber. We do our best to clean the product to remove any testing particles, but it is possible a few may remain. They are not hair and can be simply wiped off.

Hair stylist recommended- 14 year old approved!
My sister is my hair stylist, but I have shorter hair that needs to be trimmed every 4 weeks. Even though she is my sister it is still hard to find a time for an appointment, plus I always feel bad taking up a paid customers space. I decided to ask her what she would recommend for me to start shaving my hair every 4 weeks and this is what she recommended. This way I can now go see her about every 2 months or so.This shaver comes with all you need to have a mini salon in your house. My 14-yr old daughter, who would like to become a hair stylist, thought this was really great. After reading the instructions and showing her how to do my hair, she took over with no problems.Is my hair perfect? No but for the first time using I think we did great.This was easy to use, smooth against your hair, easy to clean with the included mini brushes, comes with its own storage container. I would highly recommend this for anyone needing to keep a close trim.

Just as expected!
These are good starter clippers! They didn't seem to have very high power, but worked very adequately. All the adjustment components I tried worked well. The carrying case is made of very thin plastic and had been broken on arrival... I reached out to WAHL customer service and they replied in a few days. Within 2 weeks of confirming my order, I had received a replacement case (in bubble wrap, no less). Thanks to them for being responsive!

Good Clippers
I use these clippers on my husband and two boys and sometimes me honestly and they work great. They’re not easy to clean, so sometimes I have difficulty getting all the hair out of the blades sometimes and sometimes it pulls on the hair a little bit, but otherwise it’s been a wonderful money saver for me and my family.

Good clippers with lots of attachments and case.
My old clippers died after 20 years...the cord went bad, so it just needed to be tossed. This one works great so far, and came with everything I needed at a good price. Has a nice storage case, numbered guards like I'm used to, and isn't especially noisy. Hope it lasts as long as my last one!

Works well, but hard to find the size you need
I like that the clips are colored, but it's hard to find the correct one because the text is hard to read and only on one side of each clip. The text should be bigger and have contrasting color so it's easier to read. The case is a bit too small so everything is crammed on top of each other, which also makes it hard to find what you need. If there was some kind of organizer to hold all the clips in ascending order, that would have been very helpful. The clipper itself is quite heavy, quiet, and works well. The feature that lets you slightly extend the blade is confusing and not well documented.
