i like that it is a USB cable. Original was a powersupply and needed 110vac. can use the cable to charge my camera from multiple sourses

Perfect! [Until it wasn't]
Updated review: After a couple years of occasional all-day use, the cable melted. I noticed the USB A end wasn't making connection to my battery bank, and it turns out the reason for that is the metal contact has melted into the plastic housing. It also changed color as if burned. Not sure what to think about this product now. It held up for dozens of hours without a problem. It makes me question the claims of over current/temperature protections. Thankfully there doesn't appear to be damage to my camera, however, some of the melted plastic remains in my battery bank. Previous review: Flawless experience with the FDR-AX53. I use this cable for all-day vlogging and videography.

This Works on Sony HXR-MC88 Compact Full HD Camcorder
It works on my Sony HXR-MC88 Compact Full HD Camcorder. I was looking for external power source from Sony LP battery. and this cable work with USB power bank and any other USB output.

good alternative to main power
works as advertised. I am using it as a backup battery source for Sony AX33.

Works but the quality isn't very good.
The cable is coming apart at one end where I had to use electrical tape to fix it.
