Personal Pitcher® Pro Pitching Machine w/48 Small Balls (Golf Ball Size) for Baseball or Softball Training | Throws Curveballs, Sliders, and Fastballs

Limited space in my yard. Like most I do not have a batting cage but want to see live pitching for bp. These balls do not fly very far and will not damage anything. The machine has plenty of settings and pitches fairly consistent. You will get some bad pitches here and there, but I like the natural variation. Gets a ton of use and is holding up well. Make sure balls are clean and dry before you fire it up. Love the battery life and being cord free too!

This machine is great for solo training. The only tough part is finding an indoor spot with at least 30 feet of room for it to throw faster pitches. With wind whiffle balls are really tough to pick up outside. I go to a racquetball room and it’s great for picking up the balls quickly. If you know of any racquetball rooms that aren’t very occupied that may be your best bet or an empty indoor basketball court. Just remember to always let it run for a few minutes before you start feeding it. I turned it on with balls instantly once and it was throwing spitballs a few feet from the machine. Again let it warm up and it’ll be good. Start off on the soft toss setting 15 feet away and get used to that first it’s a great bp session with that alone. The sliders and cutter are also super wicked so DO NOT underestimate this thing at all.

I got this just after my Modified softball season ended but fall Slow Pitch is coming! I was hoping I would be able to simulate that kind of pitching, and with care it will work well enough. As I expected, using the small balls and my thin bat resulted in quite a few whiffs along with soft contact more than I'd like. If your ego can get hurt easily, this machine might not be for you.For those who would like to use it for slow pitch: You need a tall tripod for this; I put mine up over my head to make up for the arc that we can't fully have. You can tilt the machine back around 30 degrees before the balls start falling back and missing the wheels. I used fastball #3 at around 45 feet. Keep it to around 12-15 balls at a time so it doesn't jam up the feeder. You will have some misfires and may need to push them around on occasion because of the tilt, but it works well enough.

I have been struggling to stay connected on my swing, but ever since I bought this product I no longer struggle on my swing. The weight of the ball feeder is about 3kg. The quality of the product felt very high quality and stable. But one bad thing about this product is that it’s kinda loud. If you want to practice batting in door for you or your kids, this is a great product within the price range.

Has been good for indoor play/practice.A setup in the basement with a 30 foot distance between machine and hitter has worked out well for an eleven year old intermediate level baseball player.Would recommend for indoor (basement/garage) use. We have not tried outdoors.

Very poorly constructed. Upon turning it on, the machine made a weak, brief sound, and the wheel spun very slowly for about five seconds before completely stopping. The light is on, but the wheel won't turn. My child was heartbroken, and I'm incredibly frustrated with the poor quality.

I'm a former division one baseball player that grew up with a batting cage in my backyard. I've hit off of every pitching machine ever. For the price this is the best I have ever seen. It is super versatile. You can hit with it, you can practice catching with it, and we even set it up so it throws ground balls for my kids. It pitches consistently within the strike zone without hitting the same spot over and over again. It is light easy to set up and simple to work. It seems to be a very high quality and is an excellent value for the money. It throws a great left-handed and right-handed curveball. The battery life was excellent for us too. You can adjust the speeds easily. My 4-year-old daughter hits off of it and it can speed up enough that a grown man would struggle to keep up with the pace. Buy it.
