The acting is award winning, specifically Mozart, Constanze, Salieri and even the priest who looks absolutely shell shocked at what he is hearing. The theatrical cut is simply better than the director’s cut. It’s twenty minutes shorter and it’s not that those minutes aren’t missed, the movie is better without them. It’s tighter and has greater impact. The DTS-HD soundtrack is stunning and beautiful and the 4k restoration is faithful to the movie as it was presented in 1985. I saw this movie four times in the theater, and this is the release I’ve been waiting for. Bravo!

Pessimo non funziona. Aspettato tanto per poi non vedere una mazza. Qua si paga per non vedere 🤬

A classic to keep. I firstly watched it in high school and was amazed. Glad that it is available in Amazon.

Una de mis películas favoritas. Con la mejor imagen posible y excelente sonido. Con algunas escenas que no se incluyeron en ediciones anteriores.
