Dremel 654 1/4" Straight Routing Bit

The bit met my expectations and did the job with my Dremel tool. I used it to seat 3 hinges in a wood door. I made a jig to assist with alignment and by removing wood from door inner edge to outer edge, all worked well. However, I am not sure how much cutting “life” remains in the tip of this bit, but my job is complete and I am happy with the results.

Works well with a Fordham flexible shift tool.

I recommend installing it with the flex wire attachment that allows it to be used like a pen gripped between the fingers and affords better control. It's precise and does the job well.

Used to set hinges in (5) interior door blanks when replacing doors in my home. Worked well.

This little router bit was perfect for a small job I needed to complete. It was easy to use and the quality was great. No burning at all, it cut right through the wood with no problem.

I used this to route out the wire cavities in a solid body guitar build. Clean cuts in tiger rosewood (hard wood) take it slow with small depth changes and there is no tear out at all. I have used cheap knock off bits before and was disappointed every time. Get the Dremel brand bits, you won't be sorry.

I used this small router bit to machine my DIY loudspeaker. The only drawback, is that this bit is not lasting long. 3 panel cutouts were made and it was by the end of its life expectancy. ( MDF dayton cabinets )

小型ルーターながら、ルータービットを付けることで、本格ルーターとして使えとても気に入りました。ただ手持ちで使うため、気を抜くと非常に危ないよう思え、使用中はややビビってます。
