Coffee, steampunk style!
So...I owned a 'real' espresso machine for a few years and started each and every day with a cup of espresso that rivaled any espresso you could find in any coffee shop anywhere. When my machine finally died I didn't have enough money to replace it so I made-do with a drip cup machine until I could afford a new espresso machine. Then I found this little gadget. It's no replacement for a real machine, but I am truly amazed at the quality of espresso it can produce. You really need to have your own grinder because you'll burn through the first pound of coffee just trying to find the right grind, but when you find it you'll be amazed how good of an espresso this thing can brew. Far better than the drip your drinking now. One thing to note, it's messy. Don't walk too far away. When it finishes pushing out the last of the expresso it starts to spit and sputter coffee everywhere.

Great product for the buck
This thing is great! I mean it will create a foam but again this is a 30 bucks stove top, I don’t really expect too much. And this is so tiny, it will be great for camping trip too. there were comments about the distributed liquid being not even, but i honesty think it might be because of how even you packed your expresso, you still probably need a tamper, if you don’t you do need to tap it strong to make it expresso even as much as possible, there is YouTube videos people making expresso with this, check how they packed the expresso and you are good to go! Great for the bucks!

A quick cup for two
This is more of a show off piece than your regular moka pot. It takes your single serving moka pot and divides it in half to give you a small shot but still strong shot of coffee. I like to use this to make a cortado. Or if the wife and I both want coffee, but only a little coffee. Same rules for a regular moka pot still apply for this tiny pot. Fill w/ hot water in the bottom bin to the spigot, place basket full of leveled coffee on top, carefully screw spout on. Place on stovetop and heat at a desired temperature until coffee starts to be forced out into the two awaiting cups. Just remember this requires espresso cups to be waiting on the tray as it eats, or you'll have a literal hot mess. In short, highly recommend if you want something that's not only small and convenient, but if you and someone else want a little coffee to quickly start your day.

Unique
Came across this cute Moka coffee maker in Venice, Italy. Was pleased to see Amazon carried the exact product shown in the Italian Bialetti window. I use Lavazza Crema E Gusto Ground Coffee with this & it works well :) Pros: nice tasting coffee, good for one person, unique & a conversation starter (since most people haven't seen a coffee maker that looks like this). Cons: coffee splatters when making it & needing to purchase supplementary products to use this. Namely, espresso cups (2) & a stovetop trivet (small coffee maker base + large gas stovetops = wobbly Moka). Would & have recommended this product to friends & family.

Cheap efficient but not perfect
Great for quick espresso and it’s cheap enough so I am not complaining. Espresso quality good but doesn’t evenly distribute espresso into 2 cups It serves my purpose for quick small espresso. Recommend using smaller flame burner or you will not be able to pick up your cups until they cool.

I love this espresso maker
I love this espresso maker! It is very easy to use, and very easy to clean! It does a great job of extracting a range of flavors from your coffee. If I had a complaint, it would be that out stays a bit hot, so I have to wait for my second cup :)

2 Very Uneven Cups
Let me begin by saying that I am a Bialetti fan. However, I would recommend that you avoid this particular product. I've used it about 20 times since I've gotten it and only once did I get reasonably equal volumes in the two cups. Usually, it's about 70%/30%, always favoring one particular side. I've tried taking the filter out to see if there were any obstructions, but didn't see any. I've tried heating at different rates but to no avail. Rinsing the top part upside-down under the tap results in equal amounts of water coming out each spout so I know it's not plugged. Eventually I may try crimping the more productive spout a bit in order to constrict the flow in hopes that that will remedy the problem... Anyway, I usually end up having to pour from one cup to the other to make them roughly equal volumes which is messy. Tonight, the cups were about 97%/3%, which prompted this review. I'm very, very disappointed, however, I'll still probably end up buying a Bialetti 3-cup caffetiera to replace it. UPDATE, August 30th, 2010: This thing still sucks. I just bought a DeLonghi Espresso machine and it dispenses two equal volume cups. I'm probably going to chuck the Bialletti 2-cup.

Wash after every use
My mom loved it! It works very well. Just make sure you clean it after every use so it doesn’t clog. I think that’s why ppl may have been complaining. If you don’t Clean it out I can see how eventually it will clog.

Fa un caffè eccezionale! Unica pecca, richiede tazzine molto alte perché i beccucci schizzano.
