Good book for beginners and learns those who are interested to stady body language

This book is very helpful for the ones interested in gaining the knowledge about the actions of others. It provides basic trips and tricks. I realled liked reading it. Gave me a view about what others might me. Thoigh it cant be that accurate.

Book is good. You will learn so many new things. Language of the book is not easy though.

The definitive book of body language by Allan and Barbara Pease is a crisp and apt book for first readers of the topic. It is a 'definitive' book meaning it clearly identifies body language cues and suggest possible interpretations for the same. It is an easy to understand book as it has illustrations and examples to elaborate most points. It aids in making positive use of body language in ones life to make for better communication and it also helps in identifying body language cues on others to help understand 'what is not said.' The book also has chapters on office power dynamics and has basic instructions on office setting and seating power plays. The book, however, is very simple for someone who is well versed with the topic. Amazon first started in the US selling books online. Hence, prices on books are best on Amazon. I have read a few pages but if you are a person who wants to improve your non-verbal communication this is the ultimate book. all kinds of hand gesture and body expression mentioned that you would take more than 100 hours on Youtube to collect

3 star bcz this book is not 11 inch long

I was casually going through this book in a store and immediately found it interesting. Many of the gestures and body movements I do were mentioned here and their "hidden meaning". it is a good fun read and if you implement what is suggested in the book.. well you would be a "people reader". :) Fun aside it is a different kind of book and the authors insight into our body language is truly inspiring and appreciable.

I got this book delivered exactly on time and in a good condition, so good work Amazon! I don't mean to brag but since i am a guy who's naturally gifted with detecting body language, i buy body language books to enhance my knowledge. For those of you who are interested in business i recommend this book to y'all. For those of you who are interested in detecting body language in a criminal field then i'd highly recommend Joe Navarro's book: What every body is saying. For those of you who are interested in both you may read Joe Navarro's first and then this one. Here are the pros and cons of this book: Pros Very informative Practical examples Profuse Illustrations Cons The chapters tend to be pretty big I strongly disagree with a few things that the author mentions in the book (Don't know whether the others will feel the same)

Nice book, good visualisations. Great to learn some basics

I'm a dog trainer and studied intensely dog behaviour, I equally enjoy understanding and learning about human body language, reading and understanding what they are really projecting. I have other books on studying human body language; however, this book I find amazing. It has well illustrated photos and the material is to the point and easy to understand. Very detailed information and worth the purchase especially if you want just one book that covers everything. This is better than some of the others I have purchased in the past. Very pleased with this purchase.

When I read it, I though it should be recommended for university studies on psychiatry, psychology and criminology, to say the least. it is the hidden face of protocol and truly fascinating information.

Quasi mai metto 5 stelle ad un prodotto, ma questo li vale tutti. "The Definitive Book of Body Language" e appunto un libro "definitivo": ti dice tutto sulle interazioni umane e sui comportamenti che le governano. Il linguaggio corporeo è affascinante: saperlo leggere riesce a dare molta più consapevolezza di ciò che vediamo. Il libro svela il linguaggio del corpo da tutte le prospettive: affronta i gesti più comuni di mani, gambe, occhi e tutte le parti del corpo, illustra le differenze culturali, la prossemica, il mirroring e una marea di altre cose. Dovrebbe essere un libro obbligatorio da leggere nelle scuole, non quelle cavolate che adesso va di moda dare, perché (se ci si impegna per qualche mese seguendo i consigli dati) ti da una marcia in più nella vita di tutti i giorni, rendendoti una persona più comunicativa e ricettiva. Inutile descrivere poi i vantaggi che si hanno se si devono vendere dei prodotti o se ci si deve relazionare con estranei per lavoro... Il fatto che sia in inglese non è stato un problema, il linguaggio è chiaro e bisogna consultare il dizionario un numero limitato di volte.

Good book for those looking to improve their understanding and communication with others. It is really easy to read and to understand the principles.
