I gave this projector to my daughter for Christmas and she loved it! She deals with severe anxiety, is on the autism spectrum, and deals with other mental health problems, and the northern lights feature is very calming for her. In fact, it has become a major part of our "grounding" routine when she has a panic attack/autistic meltdown at home. She also uses it at night to help her fall asleep (or when she wakes up during the night to help her relax to fall back asleep). We haven't used the bluetooth feature yet because she doesn't have any devices that do bluetooth (but I think it would be great to use for her music if we do get a device she can use it with), but we love the light feature and the sounds it has programmed in. You can use basic functions using the buttons on the device itself, but with the remote that comes with it, you can adjust more things to your preference. With the lights, you can adjust the intensity (which is super helpful for us because she can turn it dim at night and brighter when she needs it for calming during the day). You can also adjust what colors-any combination of the red, green, white, and blue lights. The "stars" are just a pattern of green dots (which we don't particularly like, but some people might. We'd like them better if they were white and a random pattern so they looked more like stars), but you can turn the "stars" on or off independent of the other lights or sounds, etc. (basically, with the remote, you can do any combination of northern lights-including color combinations and intensity, "stars", and sounds). With the sounds, there's a basic lullaby or a choice of various nature-type sounds and you can adjust the volume of those. You can also set a timer of 1 hour or 2 hours so it will turn off on it's own if you want. I feel like the remote is pretty easy to use and fairly intuitive. I'm not much of a technology person at all, but even with all of the options, I can use the remote just fine to do what I want it to do. We did have a problem, after about 5 months or so, that the power cable became finicky and stopped working properly, and then when we started using another USB power cable we had around the house, the projector started turning off and on by itself. At that point, we just emailed the company directly (the customer service email in the manual that came with it) and they immediately sent us a new one without causing stress or headache for us. The new one has worked perfectly fine for us so far, and it was such a relief to not have added stress because of the issue, especially since my daughter had become so dependent on this light for part of her sleep routine and calming routine when she needed it. I would highly recommend the projector, as well as the company that made it. In fact, I might buy more for my other kids as well (or just for fun for our family).

Have been using this little star projector for over 7 months now and my wife and I love it. we use it in the bedroom before sleeping while we read and it is very soothing. You can change the colours and tempo or set it up to pulse with music or sounds, which we don't really use but its there if wanted. The build quality is very good and we have not had any problems after nightly use. The stars are in a fixed pattern which could be better but the colours dance and swirl nicely creating a wonderful effect. The remote is a must have and works very well. Highly recommended.

I love this thing so u should buy this thing too... nuff said. No in all seriousness it's great the way the aurora looks realistic and the little stars I could stare at my ceiling for hrs. It's memorizing and hypnotic. I love having my music running thru it at he same time just makes for nice ambience. The prerecorded sounds... someone was a genius for including the sound of a campfire. All I need to relax . Months later..... I'm just gonna add... ireally love this stupid lite. The timers are brilliant I turn it on use the preset campfire track put the timer for an hour and go to bed watching the northern lights and stars with the sound of a crackling fire.... so relaxing I fall asleep... timer shuts it all off Edit: almost 2 yrs later.... I still run this light for an hr every night. Still works perfectly. Best waste of money.

This projector is so much better than the last one we bought. The colors are bright and beautiful. Comes already together, just need to plug it in. Which I like more because I don’t have to mess with batteries dying. The size is perfect for my sons cluttered nightstand. I like that it has a dimmer so I can turn it down to help get the kids sleepier. All in all it’s a great projector. Would definitely recommend.

The stars stay green and stationary but can be on or off but I sort of wish those could be changed or some with movement, OR that there was the option to have swirls of color in other patterns but otherwise the colors of the "aurora" lights are absolutely beautiful. I tried the bluetooth to our tv to see if I could use as an additional speaker but it lags a bit so not good for that with use of the tv speakers at the same time or its like an annoying echo , but for regular music and such... its perfect! I like that there are brightness and speed settings too. The colors feel as it they are really blending on the ceiling....it's stunning :) I chose this one for the white noise options included and its perfect for my needs.
