I've always wanted longer cords, & have even went out of my way to create/wire one longer one out of two separate cables. That was for the standard USB 2.0 cord.When I got my Galaxy S5 new with the accessories & the USB 3.0, the length was still a tad too short for my needs. Unfortunately, the stock Samsung cord snapped... literally, down where the 3.0 end plugs into your charge port. So I looked around for not only a 3.0, but a longer one and came across this one. This charger is 6' long & wrapped in what looks like a thick fiberglass braiding (the colors are beautiful, btw) that is supposed to be bend & kink resistant,.... well it really is surprisingly!! and feels very durable.As for the 'gold plated' connectors, they look very nice but honestly in my opinion, they're more for show.The ONLY negative thing I could find with it, is that I was expecting the cable to be a little thicker than it is. It's a tiny bit thinner than the stock Samsung cable but it's still a beautiful charging cord that does charge the phone quickly. I completely 100% recommend buying one if you're looking for something longer than most power cords or just want a more durable cord.

When a co-worker sees this in my office, the comment I hear the most is "wow - this looks like some sort of Nylon rope or something." To which I reply "so it's not white or black, and therefore it stands out, and that's exactly the point."I use this cable, obviously, in my office, and it's rather rugged. I've accidentally run over it with my office chair more than once (OK, to be honest, more than a dozen times), and yet it just won't die - which was exactly what I was looking for, aside of a design that stands out. Plus it charges at USB 3 speeds perfect for my Galaxy S5, so honestly, what more could I ask for?

It's a long cable, so because of that I think it charges slightly slower than my OEM cable for my S5, but still does the trick. Unless you're a San Diego Chargers fan, it's ugly as sin, although I appreciate the humour in it literally being a charger. USB3 cables aren't cheap and likely won't be for some time, so I'd buy this again if I needed one.12/30/2016 - I've upgraded this to a 5-star rating. It's still going strong, no fraying or kinks. It goes to show you that just because it's a braided cable, it doesn't mean it's going to be quality like this one. So far it's the best I've bought.

I have bought several FRiEQ micro usb cables previously so when I got my Samsung Galaxy S5 this one was a must have for me. Minimal tangles which are very easy to unwind if they do happen and very fast charging speeds are what brought me back to buying this brand again.If you have a smart phone and are getting tired of having to plug in for hours to get a full charge these can make a huge difference for you. I've gone from < 20% up to full in less than an hour while using my S5.

Love the threading. The length is awesome. I can actually be on my phone in bed while it is plugged in charging. However, not very durable. The USB side bent after 2 months. It still charges when I find the right position to lay the cable. So, know you might end up playing that game sooner than you thought.

It's working great. We wanted something that would be a bit sturdier and stand up to the family usage in the living roomUPDATE: He used it daily instead in the car and it worked great day in and day out. 3 Months in, the casing on the end for the phone broke away and within a month, failed completely

I initially purchased this due to it's bright color (in order to make it more noticeable if a fellow employee attempted to steal) and for it's length. It worked great for a few months until it became very sensitive about when it would charge. Alas, I had to toss this cute charging cord and revert back to the Samsung issued charger.So all in all this might be a good charger to keep at work but was unable to handle every day usage.

My favorite cables so far. They don't tangle easily and are long enough to reach most things. I also like that they offer various colors, so I can identify which cable I have by the color (I have this cable in USB-3 and USB micro versions.Very convenient and good quality. The ends also fit in my phone without being too large. Connections to the devices are solid - I dislike when cables don't fit well or don't charge the device well enough.

You spend umpty squillions on a phone and then carry it round with a 50p charger. This feels like the cable from a 30s wireless and looks beautiful. Does the job well and fits with a nice quality 'chunk' like shutting the door on a Bentley ( I imagine). Can leave your phone charging by the side of the bed and still use it comfortably also which is why I got it. Costs double what the others cost. Like that Bentley does.

Finally, I found a cable that last longer than a week. In fact, I used it for a couple of months already and it still works greatly.

Great wire (much more of a luxury feel to them than typical replacement wires, very quick post and would recommend to others

My original Samsung charger had stopped charging because of a weak connection, probably because I was always trying to pull my phone closer to me, whilst charging. The extra long length on this lead makes charging my Samsung Galaxy Note 3, whilst being used, very simple. Sturdy.

Excellent quality and pretty indestructible. Still like new after 2 months daily use.
