So my nephew got a Jackson JS32 Dinky for <$300 bucks for Christmas. It is made in China so I thought it would not be that great until I played it, what a great feel, sound and action. Well, it is made in China so sure enough it has some issues, one of which being the nut is made of cheap metal. He had one of the screws strip out one of the holes so I purchased this from Amazon. This R3 fits "most" Jackson guitars but if in doubt go to the manufactures website and get the radius and width of the nut on your guitar and then buy the correct one. In this case, the Jackson had the 12" radius so I knew right away it was the R3 given the chart. I received the nut in the retail packaging, see pictures. I took some side by side pics to show the difference. I think it did change the string spacing a tiny bit but I did not even notice the difference until I looked back at the pictures. The bottom line is it worked great on this guitar, and cheaper than anywhere else. I recommend. Oh, and this is one of the easiest repair jobs you will ever do.

I replaced the locking nut on a 24 year old Jackson rr1. Nothing has changed. It fit perfect and the intonation was dead on even on the first 3 frets. It's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

Great product. Definitely an upgrade from the cheap Chinese one that came on my guitar I ended up stripping threads on I barely even tightened. But I’m giving a 4 star because it came with two completely different screws. One for the front mount, and one for a rear neck mount. Had to reuse old ones.

Mounting holes on nut did not line up with mounting holes on guitar, returned item and was charged a restocking fee. Item page has the standard Amazon returns policy listed, but as informed by the rude customer service they have a 100% transparent returns policy hidden under the Help tab on their store page that states: Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. If you received free shipping, the actual shipping cost incurred by Music Buys will be deducted from your refund. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. If you return an item using a prepaid return label from the Online Returns Center, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. This is in addition to the original shipping costs that are also deducted from the refund. By using the prepaid label provided, you hereby agree to these terms and conditions. No exceptions will be made.

The metal used in the original Floyd Rose products is much harder and superior to the softer alloys used in the Floyd Special and similar Floyd licensed knock offs. It will hold up a lot longer and not crap out. End of story.
