1412 Royal Jerry Can with Screw Cap - 9.5 Litre

Been using this for a few months. It’s been robust enough and holds a good amount of water, fits nicely behind my car seats as it’s used as a portable dog wash. Easy to refill.

Unlike some others are reporting, this jerry can did arrive with a rubber seal that was seated in the cap. I did need to run a finger around it to seat it properly. I will probably smear a little silicone grease on it too, to ensure it doesn't get stuck to the can opening. Otherwise, for the price I paid (£9.99) it's a great and robust plastic jerry can. The can opening is of good size and with a nice coarse thread for easy fitting of cap.

This was exactly what I needed. Perfectly as described. The opening is a decent size. Lost slight marks because it would be useful if the lid was attached so that when the lid is off, it is still attached to the bottle in some way to reduce the risk of misplacing it.

I got 4 of these to carry water for my portable pressure washer £10 each they do the job and easy to pour out because of the protruding outlet for the water, There's a washer in the cap but they have all fallen out as they are just placed in and fall out as soon as you unscrew the cap, if one falls over then it leaks out and that's with the washer in or out so I make sure they don't move whilst I'm driving, you can put hot water into them and they seen to hold up well, I'm glad I've got 4 of them but still think £10 each is a bit pricey but would still recommend.

Now I'm getting old, at 72yrs I struggle with a 25l container. This is a nice size and easy for me to carry. The lid needs screwing down tight, but then again I don't transport it on its side so not a problem. Good value, good quality, functions well. Delivery on time and no complaints. I am a skilled electrical mechanical engineer by profession and was an on screen expert for BBC Watchdog and Rogue Traders for some years and subsequently sworn to honesty. I tend to research a product drilling down into the quality and value of the item before I buy. I am not paid for my reviews and have no personal gain from them. I have no difficulty recommending this item. What's not to like. Go buy!

Perfect for the weekend. Well made comfortable to carry.

Sturdy water container as long as its laying upright. Arrived from the factory with a pinhole sized gap in the plastic near the top, meaning it has a slow leak when on its side. Around 100ml an hour. Hasn't gotten any worse since I noticed it and I've had no catastrophic failures, which I was getting sick of when using the thin collapsable containers. It still does the job and the capacity of this is perfect for camping, can easily be secured to a pannier rack on a bicycle using bungie cord. It also fits in xl sized rucksacks, though not recommended for long walks! Had to lug this 2 miles to a camp spot when my bicycle's crank shaft packed in. Was not a fun day that!

Strong and durable so just what I wanted for carrying fluids.
