Korrekte Messung des Lärmpegels

I was looking for a way to monitor the sound level in our practise room and this device seemed ideal. Unpacking was a nice surprise. Sturdy packaging, nice sleek display panel. Unfortunately the measurements seemed very erratic. Even when placed next to a television news reader speaking with monotone voice, the level would jump up and down with 10 dB. It seems as if the device is measuring very short peaks, whereas it would be more useful to average over let's say a second or so. Also, in a silent room the meter still reads 44 dB which is about 15 dB too high. I suspected that might be due to a filthy power supply, so I tried supplying from a power bank. But even then the reading would not go below 44 dB. That means the calibration cannot be trusted or the internal noise level is way too high. All of this renders the device totally useless for our purpose, so I had to return it.

Très agréablement surpris par la bonne qualité du produit. Il faut impérativement le brancher sur secteur. Donc prévoir une prise voire une rallonge , car le câble est assez court.
