Ok! I just loved as I do all of Dan Brown’s books! Kept me on the edge of my seat and had to put it down a couple of times so I could go to sleep! Thanks for another great read!!

My life was very busy during the time I was reading this book. I so wanted to just let the world stop so I could finish the book -definitely a wonderfully written book.

Deception Point is exciting and gripping. It’s a book you don’t want to put down. Enjoy the twist & turns. You will be surprised!

Good Dan Brown book. The sort of ride you expect and if you are looking for this it does not disappoint

I like Dan Brown. This is a good story line with multiple terrifying situations and surprises. Almost too much education however.

I have read three books by Dan Brown, and am confounded as to how I missed this one. what a ride!

I read this book many years ago and was really captured by it. I don't read many books a second time, but this one was still excellent.

Great book, the quality of the book was also v good.

I know it is an old book, read by millions; I did not know of Dan Brown before Da Vinci Code. I read at that time, that Dan Brown was selling his books from his car trunk at different malls. Of course, that sounds almost crazy, and he never had to do anything to sell his books after Da Vinci, they just jump off the shelves. I brought it up because, Deception Point is his first book and a terrific read, but few people knew about it. A crooked politician aiming at the president; his scientist daughter being sent over the Arctic Circle to witness a discovery so astounding it would get NASA and the President back on their feet again. A meteorite with a fossilized specimen of an alien animal!And it goes on at break neck speed for over five hundred pages.The question is why did it have to wait till the author became a great best seller later.That is the worst of modern publishing system!The only criticism I have of this book (and of the writer) is that he is a painstaking earnest writer. Just using High School English. Is that the reason that publisher was reluctant to push it? Well, his inventiveness has overcome his lack of natural writing.But I look forward to his next book, Origin was disappointing.

Vale pelo entretenimento. Se você já leu um livro do Dan Brown você já leu todos. O herói e a mocinha que formam um par romântico que se mete em uma situação inusitada, o vilão não é quem o narrador sugere a história inteira como potencial vilão, mas sim uma outra pessoa oportunista e megalomaniaca que age com uma justificativa baseada em “bons propósitos” que sempre esteve presente, acompanhando os protagonistas e que o leitor é levado a acreditar que é um aliado. Agora, o livro tem um background muito bem pesquisado sobre tecnologia, equipamentos utilizados e elementos históricos. Algo impressionante, por isso as quatro estrelas e tambem porque é uma leitura descompromissada e divertida. Bom para esfriar a cabeça.
