Highend Product for a low cost! Works great and a little goes a long way.
Love this line. Bought the PureEmu Shampoo and Conditioner. LOVE them both as great for medium texture hair. I also color my hair and feel the oil makes it shiny and freah again! Does not dull the color at all. Thibk it actually looks like my color is always fresh. Smell is awesome. Herb smell while shower and then just leaves hair clean smelling. I only need a little but love that BOTH come with a pump! This is an 8oz with a pump! Usually only find that with professional salon products and even those expensive ones are trying 2 charge, more for a pump these days! Nice packaging indeed for the low cost. Emu Oil is very good at creating natural benefits not only for hair but great on scalp and skin too.

Leaves hair soft and silky!
This product is absolutely wonderful! I NEVER write reviews, but felt compelled to with this one. I have curly, unruly, color treated hair. The shampoo conditions so well, that my hair actually feels silky in the shower after rinsing out the shampoo—that is unheard of prior to using conditioner. This shampoo smells fantastic and using a small amount creates amazing lather. I highly recommend trying it!

Did not work for me.
This product is definitely sheer. But it left my roots way too oily, and my ends very course and tangled. While part of that is my hair type, long and fine, I will say, I don't have this experience with other products. My ends are trimmed regularly and usually feel very smooth. It smells like mint gum if that's your thing.

Decent product overall
Works well but doesn't lather with small amounts. I have short thinning hair and use it daily. My girl doesn't like it for her hair but for me the Emu oil keeps the scalp clean. Compared to other emu shampoo and this one was what I chose. Will buy again

Great
I have tried this new shampoo since I have grown my hair out. It is wonderful! It bothers me that it is not cruelty free, but my thin hair looks great.

Hair feels soft and has a pleasant smell
This shampoo has a very pleasant fragrance. It smells of rosemary and mint, very pleasant. My husband wanted to try it and he really liked it. He feels that the fragrance is pleasant and it does not linger for a long time. He said his hair felt clean and not greasy at all.The only thing he did not like was the price. It is more than double his normal shampoo for 1/2 the quantity.Note: if you are sensitive to animal use; this shampoo is made from emu oil (fat).

Great smell, great shampoo!
The smell is heavenly... the rosemary mint it just amazing and puts my day on the right path before I'm even out of the shower. It lathers well and cleans well with no issues rinsing out. It does pretty much require a moisturizer but that's not a big deal. As shampoo goes, it's amazing.

What goes up... just keeps going up
April 2020 update: I really like this shampoo but the price has risen by 15% over three purchases within the past year alone. Each subsequent purchase was made at a higher price. It finally irritated me enough to agree to “subscribe and save” but the meager “savings” are even less than the sales tax alone. Just a heads up to anyone considering this. The price will most likely continue to steadily increase. As for me, I’m mulling my options. I get that there is such a thing as inflation but 15% in one year is a lot.Jan 31 Update: I have become a verified purchaser of this emu oil shampoo. I tried several other mint shampoos when the pure emu finally ran dry. I even tried some of the tea tree oil shampoos, including the very popular Paul Mitchell tea tree shampoos. None offered the same invigorating minty feeling and scent of this shampoo. The tea tree shampoos also dried out my hair and made it dull and frizzy, including a bottle labeled “moisturizing”. I decided to stick with the Pure Emu shampoo for now. I love the relaxing scent, sensation and how clean and soft it leaves my hair. No conditioner is needed. I really hope the manufacturer doesn’t mess this up like so many other manufacturers do by “tweaking” the formula. It’s perfect just as it is.Aug 27 Update: So, I've been using this shampoo for about a month and a half now and I still love it. It's very long lasting. I shampoo my hair daily and I've only used half the bottle so far. The pump is about the only weak spot because it doesn't pump enough shampoo per squirt and it feels like it's ready to stop functioning any day now. That's obviously a super minor potential issue but otherwise, 100% loving this shampoo. I plan to order another when this runs out. This has just replaced my argon/shea/sea kelp shampoo. Emu oil is the new argon/shea/sea kelp.Original Review from July 2018:I was curious how Emu oil shampoo would feel and smell. This actually has an invigorating rosemary mint fragrance. It also lathers well and feels good against my scalp during lathering. Afterward, my hair felt nice and clean with no itchiness or irritation. I love a nice shampoo and typically use a brand containing a combo of argan, shea and kelp. Like this shampoo, it both smells good and feels clean afterward. This is the first to give that shampoo a run for the money. The light minty fragrance tends to linger just a tad after washing, but not to the point of being an issue and is completely gone within five minutes or so. I'll see how well this does with the health of my hair over time but the actual shampoo experience is very refreshing.
