To put it simply, this phone is exceptional, in pretty much every aspect. Most of the reviews are correct, it simply blows all other phones out of the water, including the overhyped, and overpriced iPhone 16,17,18 or whatever model is out this month. It does take a little time to get used to, but once tweaked to personal preferences then everything is instantly accessible. The camera, and all its various settings, is exceptionally clear, vivid and very, very fast. The battery is very good too. A full charge will last a day or two, assuming you don't have a load of apps running in the background. I am extremely pleased with this phone, and the bonus of an Honor pad is excellent as well. Highly recommended.

The phone is very nice and stylish. But I couldn't get the tablet gift of the phone I bought two weeks ago because it came with a tablet. I didn't see any explanation, help or effort from Honor. I sent an e-mail, I reached customer service via WhatsApp. But it was useless.. In the end, if I get an answer like "You lost your right because you didn't reach us on the given date", then of course I will do what is necessary.

What a disappointment after what seemed like a promising early experience! One huge issue I have come across was being unable to charge with Power Banks, I have several and the charging display kept appearing and disappearing over and over which means you can't touch screen it's in a loop basically. The battery would continue to discharge as if not connected and because of the charging status screen being stuck in a loop you couldn't use phone unless completely unplugging from power banks... The power banks I use work great with all my other devices and my old phone too which is on the way out, with the Honor Magic 7 Pro it won't charge with any of the power banks! Could possibly be a software issue or a faulty device/issue with charging port, I reached out to Honor first and wasn't impressed at all with customer service I received... they seemed disinterested because I didn't buy phone from them directly. I then contacted Amazon customer service who so far have been excellent, the agent who helped with returns process Rohan was polite and provided excellent customer service. He arranged a return and refund for me, and also for the case I ordered separately to protect it too. My experience with Honor Magic 7 Pro was good in beginning but very disappointed this flagship phone had such an issue with power banks, never experienced any issues before with a mobile phone when using power banks and unfortunately this Honor Magic 7 Pro is the first time I have ever had problems. Everyone has different usages for phones but for me not being able to charge this device with power banks when you don't have access to power plugs is a huge issue, frustrated with the hassle from this after setting up the Honor with my apps/emails! Do Honor do thorough quality control/checks on devices before they leave factory? Seems a huge oversight having an issue charging with power banks. I cannot recommend this phone based on my experience sadly, Honor need to look into/investigate this serious issue and clarify if it's software related or if it is hardware fault/issues. As other people could be having same issues as myself. Honor customer service experience sadly was abysmal, Amazon so far however have been excellent! If any updates I will add to this review, but my advice would be to anyone who is thinking of buying this think twice as with a flagship phone you shouldn't be having any problems at all using power banks! Even budget phones shouldn't have these issues... Very disappointing experience overall! 1 Star!⭐AVOID!

First the magic portal is a pointless gimmick too (when it works) AI chooses what it thinks i want to do (not) like it wants to send a screen shot to you tube..... seriously? It's a glorified copy and paste and more awkward to use too... and magic OS is already awkward at the best of times and some knuckle gestures are hard to pull off. it offers the messages app why for what reason?? To send via MMS!!! And not everyone uses RCS It won't even offer signal app to send a screen shot or honours own honour mail? But only messages yeh I would send numerous screen shots via MMS ridiculous in 2025 Most of AI selected apps from the side bar are NONE useful no web search I took a screen photo for my partner who wanted her bank details (naturally banks do not allow screen shots for security) the honour portal AI offers me "search youtube" seriously yeh I would like to search you tube for her bank details and sort code. And out of all the knuckle gestures in magic OS it was implemented on what would be the most used AI feature. Phone screen sliding around trying to get it to select a section with your knuckle ends up finally highlighted extracting text that doesn't extract anything it doesn't copy -paste it just offers a selection 9 times out of 10 it chooses nothing i will use!!!!! It feels Half baked next battery life is shocking SHOCKING (not due to the lower capacity either) I can't believe it can drain so fast I was under the impression silicon carbon battery is a higher capacity? battery of the magic 7 lite has a 6600mAh battery cell they give us here in the UK a 5270 mah battery! when the same magic 7 pro in other contents get 5,850mAh even the magic 6 pro had a bigger battery?! And the UK model doesn't come with a charger not really an example to show the 100 watt charging out of the box. The UK model of the magic 7 pro battery capacity is only a little more than a standard lithium of most flagship smartphones today !! what with no charger in the box (that we need for it's full potential) and everything else they are removing we are constantly getting ripped off. I tested this with a another device different brand I purchased from Amazon last year and the honor drained faster left on standby a few hours by 19% compared to 2%! There also isn't a software power off button on the drop down on the notifications like other skins to be honest I buy devices for their skins and features and not for dumb down thin skin vanilla android. The ir remote also has nowhere near the amount of other brands air conditioner and fans why? I had a device in 2014 that could control my amplifier boombox SACD player drawer and even the ability to program by aiming the remote to learn new buttons that are normally not on standard remotes... the Positives well are the phone speakers.... And the display gets bright and the build is definitely up there with good quality control at a decent level but I'm tired of some 5 star reviews without knowledge of in use experience these devices are over £1000!!!! Today it seems less is more they take everything useful off and give us nothing and charge us for it I wish I could mention the device from 2014 that had a removable battery a headphone jack a micro SD card a superior ir blaster.... but we do get a factory fitted screen protector is another reason I bought it.......so thank you manufacturers that do this. But I'm not happy with the magic OS UI and nasty default keyboard is also shocking Come on these Chinese brands have a time to shine and kick 2 other main brands off the market........but please sort the software out cool hardware needs good software. try to use the one handed mode jesus this gestures is ridiculous to pull off!.it requires 2 hands just to activate it after 10 attempts I have gone back 9 screens its ludicrous!!! One hand needs to hold the phone to stop it falling backwards while the other hand struggles to reach the far left to slide across the very bottom to active one handed mode who designed this its diabolical!! Defeats the purpose to activate one handed mode when you still need 2! To activate it Infuriating beyond belief. The battery life again after a few days is diabolical no way am I paying over £1000 for this if it doesn't resolve I'm returning its disgraceful also most reviews are for the 5850mah global version.... so no wonder battery life will be better The camera app is also laggy and choppy when entering gallery from a previous photo taken no way this is worth over £1000 a premium price tag requires premium software not just nice hardware. Highlighted features half baked does not attract loyal customers of a brand. I will not review a product 5 star just because it comes with a free gift.. I'm not convinced software updates promised too. And what's with the default power button being assigned to Gemini and Google assistant I'm so tired of services forced on us. Setting wallpapers to themes requires consent and legal agreement. have decided to return it reluctantly the great speakers fitted screen protector premium build quality is let down with awkward OS strange battery drain AI (gimmicks) poor haptics ( loud cheap) I usually keep my phones for 12 month before I upgrade but I have a feeling 12 month from now this will be forgotten. Just an update although the return was initiated And recieved There has been no refund after 4 chat sessions and 3 phone calls to amazon I was Promised a refund and 4 different dates i dont appreciate being blatantly lied promising a manual refund and a promised date that never happened regarding a legit return. i also was told 14 days then i was told 30 days and now i am told 60 days i.am not an awkward customer but I won't be deliberately lied too with made up information. It would be a different story if I asked for a full refund upfront then told them I will send the item back in 2 months time!! Maybe if manufacturers and brands didn't overhype their products there would be less returns... I should contact my bank and issue an indemnity claim as this is not acceptable in the slightest.

Ever since the death of Huawei for the UK I've been searching for a replacement, this phone comes close but sadly not close enough. Hardware is pretty good, screen has to up there with the best, charging is fast, battery life just about gives me a day ISH and I'm a heavy user...the one big problem this phone has is software. It seems the longer I have the phone now 4 months the worst the issues get. So many apps don't work properly, they don't update, they hang, notifications is just a disaster...so sadly my search continues...
