Appreciating this radio as a multi decade DX enthusiast I can confidently recommend the AMNVOLT V4 ATS MINI. I’m very pleasantly surprised by its physical quality as well as its receiving performance, if only using the included antennae. Sound is voice-exceptional, clear, and intelligible. Varied antenna experimentation results in very good>excellent reception on most bands. For the cost this is a no-brainer for the band scanning gadget lover.

Over 70 years ago my dad taught me how to build a little crystal radio set from scratch. Since then I am an admitted radio junkie. The electronics are still a bit mystifying, it's not the music, it is the connection with the world sitting on my desk, in my car or in my pocket. I also have a weakness for gadgets. When i saw this little unit i thought it would be a fun little radio bordering on a cool gadget. It is that but way more. The "fun"ctionality that is built into this tiny little unit is incredible. OK the audio won't inspire you if you are listening to music but it is clear and understandable even for an 80 year old geezer such as myself. The only change I would make is the antenna mount. If it were turned 90 degrees the resting point of the retracted antenna would be parallel with the radio and therefore possible to carry in a shirt pocket. As is the antenna is perpendicular so unless loosened it won't fit comfortably in shirt pocket. If aligned with the long axis of the radio that would make this pup just about perfect. .

The quality of assembly and the display are very nice indeed. Operation is intuitive and easy considering the lack of buttons or controls. Unfortunately, it is not terribly sensitive which, for my purposes as an amateur radio operator, limits its usefulness.

It does what it says. It works it doesn't blow up mi mind.

Nice tiny radio. Good features and intuitive controls. Not as sensitive as similar radios but antennas provided are decent. Wish it had a more expanded frequency range. Expect next iteration will have a touchscreen. Very handy for traveling especially backpacking!

Works great. V4 is a major improvement from the first version.

New Hf mini radio V4 great little radio

This is my third MINI Radio. All great until this one. The 99 memories just doesn't work. Have tried resetting the radio and started all over but that didn't work. On the prior version I found the memories worked fine and I used them most of the time. Guess I will have to return it. After weeks of waiting for the delivery this was really sad to see.
