YS YOSE POWER 26 inch Ebike Conversion kit 48V500W Rear Front Motor Wheel with 48V13Ah Battery Fit for 6S 7S 8S 9S 10S Cassette Screwed Brushless Motor Kit

I bought the Yose kit and have installed it, installation was not difficult. Watched a lot of youtube video's and read internet articles. I am very impressed with the power of my bike, the battery life and the ease of operation. Since I have not had it that long, I will have to wait to make a final review but so far so good. The one thing I will share is once I got the bike together the pedal assist was not working. I discussed it via email with Yose support and couldn't figure it out initially. I read somewhere, that someone pedaled backward and found that the motor came on. So, I pedal backward and found that everything was installed correctly except that the magnetic sensor was on backward. I reversed it and now the bike operates perfectly. Everything I look at showed the shinny part of the magnet facing out, but in reality the right way was for the shinny part of the magnet to face toward the sensor. The 5 settings of the pedal assist seems to work around 5/6 MPH, 9/10 MPH, 14/15 MPH, 19/20 MPH and 24/25 MPH respectively. Hope this helps someone trying to put together their Yose kit. I am very pleased so far.

I got this kit thinking i wold convert my wife's old Rock Hopper to a modern E bike. Be warned, this kit is mean for conversion of newer bike frames. The rear stays had to be expanded to accommodate the rear hub motor. This is not something the average person can do, however, I was fortunate to have worked in a bike shop. Next the rack for mountain the battery to the down tube did not fit and had to be modified so the battery could set in the rack properly. Once i had the whole thing together and all electrical connections made i turned on the battery and display and nothing. Ultimately i took it to a specialty bike shop where the owner and i checked everything out and found the battery was fine but the controller was sending no power to either the throttle or display. Then i had to spend several more hours taking it all apart and shipping it back. You would be better off buying an E bike than trying to make a conversion with this kit.

the bike needs a lot of specific things for this kit to work. If you do get it on it works great is quite reliable.

I bought the 26W 48v 500w real wheel kit, I converted a older trek 4500, and I upgraded to disk brakes as well, everything lined up great and wired up nice and smooth

It was fun for the first 3 months but after that I started having problems with the functionality. The wiring had problems. I had bought two of them one of them went out a month before the other one same problem computer control switch shorted out. This product is very cheaply built I'd find another product. I bought two of them in March and they're already both broke down in August
