First of all, packing was great, easy to install, and it fit my small bike frame with the battery upside down. Battery and motor/wheel feel great quality. and the kit looks clean on my bike. Riding with the kit feels awesome. It gets to 25mph consistently, no problem, which felt really fast, but not stupid unsafe fast, which is perfect. the acceleration is pretty fast and torquey. I like how you can set a cap on your speed using the lcd display in settings. If I don’t want to deplete my battery too fast by riding continuously with 25mph, I can just cap the speed at say 21mph. I tested the range on a ride, and the battery died with an impressive 30 miles taken down, riding at 21-22mph consistently using only throttle, no pedaling (on a main flat asphalt road + several stops at traffic lights). I’m just very happy I could get at least 20 miles without pedaling. Plus, If you pedal lightly, you can definitely extend the range several miles. The throttle is pressure sensitive, so it ramps the speed up depending on how much you push, which is nice. Even at top speed, the motor is surprisingly very quiet riding outside. Just a faint buzz of the motor. Kit comes with included brake pedals, which cut off the power to the motor when pulled. After trying them, I realized I didn’t need them, because releasing the throttle + braking with stock brakes had the same effect. I tested only throttle on a long 20-25 degree incline on a parking garage ramp, and the bike tackled it like a beast. maintaining 15+ mph. definitely impressive. The kit was a great and cost effective way to power up my bike for fun. and I can still use my bike as normal, compared to buying a real Ebike, which would be heavy, more expensive, and difficult to pedal without electric power.

Very easy to install

500 watt Yose Power rear tire hub drive. I installed this kit on on an older Diamondback and could not be happier with the outcome.. I have put about 30 miles on it since I installed it and really enjoy having the electric assist. The kit was not that difficult to install. But I did need to get a bracket to install the battery correctly so it fit properly with my water bottle screws. Not a big issue. I bought the cassette version and had no issues transferring my cassette over. I have used the bike on roads, and trails..

I purchased this kit about half a year ago and have been happy with it! The main thing you need to know before buying a kit is what style of cassette you have on your bike wheel. You basically have to take the wheel off your bike to find out which one you have. I used the cassette style on mine which is a slotted gear with a little nut to hold it onto the wheel. The other style is a thread on type make sure you order the right kit! I get approx. 10 miles on a charge which isn't anything to brag about, also power is very minimum but if you want a real ebike you can spend your $1000+ bucks and get one! I have about $600 into mine and it has many features like a higher dollar ebike, like adjustable pedal assist and a speedometer! Happy ebiking!

The short of it is hold down the down button till the bike moves then pedalit will take off adjust the speedn start pedaling. I am adding this kit to a Catrike Trail. I am still waiting on a PAS extension cable to complete my install. The downside to any ebike is it adds a lot of weight. With a 2 inch Columbia tire on the rim with what could be called a gravel / road tread it runs very smooth and without noise whether under power or coasting. This peddles so much easier than my other ebike ( EB7 ).

If you already have a decent quality mountain bike, this is a nice way to go. Installed on my 96 Rock Hopper. Definitely a fan of e-bikes now! And I still get to ride my trusty old friend.
