Clase Azul Reposado Tequila, 70 cl

We discovered this visiting a superb tequila dedicated bar in Nottingham. When I asked the bar man which of their 140 tequilas he would have if it were his last taste on Earth, he named this without hesitation. Our taste (at £10 a shot) convinced us to buy a bottle from amazon there and then. This is where tequila meets fine cognac. It is to sip and savour, NOT to down as a shot. It is sublimely smooth and has a complex flavour which is obviously tequila but carries a delicious vanilla sweetness with it. The flask is worthy of the liquor within... large, heavy and beautifully hand painted with a large solid stopper. If this does not impress your tequila drinking friends, you need new friends!

I discovered Clase Azulejo Reposado tequila during a recent trip to Mexico, it’s smoothness and unique rich flavour instantly made it a firm favourite. Having brought a bottle home with me I was worried it would be one of those holiday drinks that never seems quite as good when you get them home, I need not have worried it’s still one of my favourite spirits and up there with the best whisky and bourbons in the world. I am now well into my second bottle and I intend to always keep a bottle in my drinks cupboard

The Best Tequila I’ve ever tasted!!! Yes I know it’s expensive, but this tequila is not for doing shots with salt and lime, if that’s what you do the stick to Jose Cuervo! Because this should be sipped on a warm summer evening, with a cigar in the other hand. One of the smoothest tequilas you’ll ever taste; if you’re a tequila connoisseur this is the one for you. Also it said 1-3 months shipping wait, I’m happy to say mine arrived after a week, so don’t let the shipping estimate scare you away, Enjoy!

Ordered this for a special event. £140Should have held 70cl. The bottle didn’t feel full so we decided to see how much was in.It actually on held 50cl.Total rip off.

It’s just an overpriced tequila, it burns though when put in your rear; but gets you drunk quicker

Really smooth and delicious. Doesn’t need salt and lime, just detracts from the taste. Drink neat shots and live mmmmmm!
