Choosing the perfect soap for your baby is a daunting task.One of the qualities of a perfect soap for babies is the pH. It should be around 5.5.Also it should not dehydrate the baby's skin and ideally it should be free from chemicals.I, being a pediatrician myself was in search of such a soap. There were many available in the market but none of them ticked all the boxes. Finally after a thorough search I came across this Lil Buddha Baby soap.I was skeptical initially but when I tested it I found it has all the ingredients of a perfect soap. It's pH is acidic, it has no chemicals and it moisturizes well.On contacting the seller, he told me that the soap is cured for around 9 months! Like wine, It gets better with time!I have even recommended this soap to some of my patients.Highly recommended for your little ones!

Thumbs up.. The soap isn't tiny... It's decently sized... when touched feels oily and buttery when applied on skin...this is after first use on my lo's (2month old's) skin.. The down side is that the soap is expensive and melts like butter... So I guess I will be needing one every month.. Inow will be cutting it into small pieces for every bath to let it last longer...

This soap is ideal for my daughter who is 1 month old now. The doctors had recommended that we do not use the traditional besan etc. and we wanted to stay away from the chemical based baby products. I decided to try a few ayurvedic soaps and found this one to be the best. It does not have harmful chemicals and feels very soft. Most importantly, it does not have any artificial fragrances. Am glad we found this soap.

Had really high hopes after reading the reviews and the ingredient list. But here is what l honestly felt about it.1. Found it similar to any ordinary soap tht leaves your skin wanting in moisture. It cleans well and its not too drying but definately not anything like dove or Johnson Baby.... now l know tht those are chemical loaded and pathetic...but just to give you a referance and get an idea about the feel of the skin after usage. Was expecting a softer feel beacuse of goat milk and wht not...2. Its weird tht even after the use of essential oils in the soap.. it doesnt seem to have any fragrance. Now... l read in someone's review tht it smells like chamomile.... well mine certainly doesn't and the closest l could guess was that the smell is very faint and resembles tht of the soda coth washing bar/brick that was used in yester years.3. Oh ya...it melts alright.... but thts the case wth 99% of these organic soaps. U really need to be careful with these and keep them dry after every use. Tip: use a soapdish which doesn't let th water stay.4. The image on the packing and the brand name is very cute and appealing.My verdict:So ...it may be a good choice for a child as far as the no fragrance point is concerned...because there is next to none despite essential oils....but for adults you can take your call... its a no for me...and the hunt for a good value organic soap is still on after many trials.

That is an amazing hypoallergenic soap, which is loaded with goodness of chamomile, honey, goat milk and calendula. If you have sensitive skin or you are looking for safe and natural soap for your baby, this product is just perfect. The fragrance of soap is very mild and every time I wash my face with it, I feel like I am in a field of chamomiles. Extremely pleasant and soothing experience. Now best face wash for me,which cleanse my skin without leaving it dry,but soothed and soft. Highly recommended. Hope they won't stop producing this great soap.

I bought the soap and the oil on my paeds recommendation. I wanted to use organic and natural soaps for my baby. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of Lil Buddha soap. The soap beats the chemical laden branded soaps by Johnson etc. Not only for my baby - plan to use for my whole family now.

This baby soap is very good for babies. It is like butter feeling when I'm using it on my baby skin, it really very soft but price is high. And it needs full dry environment after usage of soap because it melts very quickly if you keep in moisture place so keep it in dry place so that the durability comes more

I was looking in amazon for baby organic products with high ratings and chanced upon this , my lo was then 2 months old ,I tried it on myself for some days Nd then started using it on my lo ..now my baby is 6 months old ...the soap on continuous usage keeps soft Nd retains the body moisture ..now after 3 bars of lil Buddha s soap ...m in love with it...I use it for my lo it removes the oils I use for massiaging her .n retains a soft skin...my older one needs a soap with more later though ...An update ...now my baby is 8 months old I've ordered this the 5 th time ,..the product is wow no doubt but the quantity in the box seems to be reducing with successive orders ..I've just reduced one star for this issue ....attaching pics .. Now I gift it to all newborns too ..Now an update !! My lo is 13 months old Nd I continue to use this soap ...I usually massage her wit oil Nd bathe her .....it removes the right amount of oil away from her skin ...unlike any other commercial soaps ...the fragrance doesn't stick on for long Nd the works for me too ...I'm extremely careful when I use it on her face though ..( eyes burn with contact ) ...rest still seems OK I use bar for a month Nd a half ...my hunt for a good soap ended here .
