This is a great quality entry level triathlon wetsuit
This is a great quality entry level triathlon wetsuit. I bought this for a Olympic length tri, with a swim in a river at 60-65 degrees F. I ordered a medium based on the size chart, and it fits perfectly. I was worried because I usually wear small/size 2 in clothes, but the medium was a good choice. I am 5'4', 125 pounds with an athletic build. The zipper was easy to maneuver on my own and I can tell there is a lot of flexibility in the shoulders/arms.

DON’T BUY FROM THIS SELLER
Wow. CAVEAT EMPTOR. Do not order from this specific company. I have been an Xterra wetsuit user for over 15 years, just purchased the women’s Volt as my old one fell apart after years of serving me well in triathlons/ocean swims. I’m 5’6” 112 lbs, figured small was my size (my old suit was S/M but they don't size them like this anymore) but when I tried to put it on it was comically too small - couldn’t zip it and the fabric is WAY less durable than my old suit. My nails left marks on the fabric and now the company refuses to exchange for a larger size. When I order from various companies, I remember things like customer service (or lack thereof). Excellent customer service has so many benefits: customer loyalty, positive reviews, etc. And poor customer service is a company that shuts the door on a customer's face and leaves them with a $200 too-small wetsuit. Sad, because as I've said I've been an Xterra user for years and will continue to be but this company needs to be called out for awful customer service. I have a feeling that, because of the COVID-19 outbreak and many companies losing their shirts, these guys played hardball with me and threw me under the bus. Very bad business mistake, to see the $$ signs instead of the human face handing them out. The gentleman who responded to my email (Paul) claimed the size small should fit me easily and it’s a different experience in the water than when “standing in your living room.” Paul made two assumptions: a) I don’t know when a wetsuit fits or not, even though I’ve been ocean swimming in Xterra suits well over 15 years, and b) that I’m standing in my living room like a damfool in a wetsuit that won’t even zip it’s so small. My husband, a lifelong surfer and an ocean swimmer, started laughing when he saw me struggling to pull it up over my torso. I was hellbent on making it work but luckily he was the voice of reason and assured me it was way too small for me. Sorry, Paul. Some people actually do know more than you give them credit for.Terrible not to work with me on this - a reputable company that is devoted to customer satisfaction would have tried to reach a win-win with me on some level. I understand my nails left marks, but I cannot believe these guys weren’t willing to find a happy compromise. I'm not looking for free handouts, but I also know a bad decision on a company's end when I see one. Paul made a bad choice and did nothing to extend mercy to a fellow human who is also in a time of need (I have chronic neck pain that is somewhat alleviated by swimming and now that my local pool has shut, open waters are my only choice. And I can't afford to toss out another couple hundred bucks). We're all on our knees right now during this crisis and this company has shown its true colors, as many businesses and individuals tend to do when the proverbial sh*@ hits the fan. At a minimum there should be a warning on the label somewhere that the fabric is very delicate. If you do buy this suit (HOPEFULLY FROM ANOTHER SELLER) and are a seasoned Xterra customer, beware and be sure your fingernails are trimmed to nubs.

Good for the price
I am 5'7" and 145lbs with most of my weight in my hips and thighs and women's large fit nicely. Only complaint I have is the the neck is tight and the sleeves are cute so that a full overhead extension for a freestyle stroke is limited. Wish I would have gotten the sleeveless suit. Very buoyant and warm.

Purchased this for my wife and her 1st Olympic distance triathlon. The size was spot on but if you have a big chest you may want to consider the next size up.

Great wetsuit!
I love this wetsuit! Got it to replace my old one after 20 years, and this one is so comfortable! Allows a lot of flexibility and ease of movement. Plenty warm even in Pacific NW cold lake water in April. I don’t agree with other reviews that it’s not durable. Like any wetsuit you have to be careful putting it on, and not using fingernails, but it’s held up great after about six swims in the first two weeks. I went up a size and glad I did. I’m 5”5 130 lbs and the Med Large is perfect. I liked mine so much I got one for my daughter who is 5’5” 115 and the Medium is perfect for her. Great suit for the price point.

Small even in a size larger
I am very new to wetsuit use. I ordered a size larger as suggested but I still feel very restricted in my chest and shoulders . I used it for the second time hoping to stretch it up in my shoulders but it still felt restrictive. It might just be the way it is supposed to be but I can’t swim far being that constrained. It also rubbed my neck twice in the same spot even though I was very careful the second time to make sure it was properly fixed. On the positive side it was very warm in 64 degree water temperature.

Great fit
I haven't had an opportunity to get in the water yet, but the fit seems right. I was a little nervous as I went a size up from what the size chart recommended but it seems to have been the right decision.
