GM Genuine Parts 15757321 Rear Driver Side Door Radio Speaker

The product was exactly as advertised. It plugged right in to the stock wiring harness. It also fit the 3 bolt pattern perfectly. The sound is just as good as the other stock speakers. I will buy the rear passenger side soon.

These speakers just popped into the old housings. If you don't get OEM equipment like this, be prepared to drill some holes and maybe get an aftermarket mounting kit. This system is fits exactly and I installed them in just about 30 minutes. Tip: Watch some youtube videos first. They show you how the door panels come off. Once you see it first hand, it's a snap. Without the videos I would have fumbled around and maybe broken some of the attachment parts. Don't be frustrated, watch the videos first.

Haven't tested it in car yet, but the speaker looks very well built. I expect it to play as it should, certainly better than my current cheap after-market. I thought about bying a "fast ring" that would cover it against water drops, but fortunately there's already one on the factory-designed speaker support. The speaker comes without (+) and (-) markings that may be necessary when you need to solder back the original speaker connector which was missing in my car because of the aftermarket speakers installed. So I probed it using 1.5V battery and found that the positive terminal is on the LEFT side (see photo). Hope this helps others who come to the similar situation.
