Out of the box ready to go
This scroll saw is fantabulous! It is a solid chunk of well engineered machinery. I didn’t know what I was missing until I used this to cut at an angle while the table remained horizontal. It makes a huge difference. Overall performance has been great.

Good choice so far.
Having owned a few of these similar scroll saws i've learn enough to not get into too much trouble. Setting up and tuning a scroll saw was the first helpful thing I learn. Some are difficult but you can scroll in an inexpensive or old saw as long as you know how to tune it. The second thing I learned through many hours of maintenance and repairs was how they operate and fix them. This one is not bad at all. Yes, I was expecting it to as good or better than any $349.99 and it looks like i made a good choice. I'm not saying this one is in my top 3 yet but it works as smooth as most of the more expensive ones I've used. This one is my second Bucktool 22, The last two pics with the broken lower rocker arm are from my first one which operated successfully for... one one thousand, two one thousand, three one thousand, broke. The whole rocker assembly was a little misaligned. Everything about it aside for some plastic looks solid and of good quality. I'll like to think know better so I didn't hesitate, I returned it the next day UPS drop off and order another one right away. Really like the two day delivery. Refund received and really liking it.

Appears to be a better Scrollsaw but takes while getting use to new things
Have not used it enough to really know. Hard to put in the right blades and adjusting speeds.

Really nice saw … but
Nice scroll saw. The only thing I don’t like is the dust collection system. They have it in front so everytime I change blades, I have to mess with dust port to get at the blade. Seems like they could have put the dust port on the side or back where you didn’t have to mess with it everytime you change blades. It almost seems like an afterthought.

Value. Solid construction.
First time scroller, seems very solid, but I can't say I've ever used another to compare against. Heavy construction. At full speed it dances on the counter, not usable.. When attached to a heavy stand, at full speed the head rattles a bit. In the video I'm running 3/4 speed cutting 1" pine. Tried 1 1/2" pine, elf cut, wrong tool so far. I can't justify paying $1500+ for deluxe version of a tool that I'm not going to use often. That said I can't make cuts like this can on my 14" bandsaw. No matter how often I watch Alex. This can cut very sharpe corners with little effort. So far, I think this will be the best value while I learn how to use it.

Well made and functionality.
I am a professional woodworker , I decided to buy this machine because I became a fun of this brand name since I own also a sharpener I purchased a few years ago which is top of the line . Box was delivered at my front steps well packaged, opened the box and everything was in order , I mount a blade from Olsen #7 better quality than the two they supply with it . I checked if everything was aligned and it was extremely ready right out of the box ,I plugged it in and clamp the machine on my working bench and I tested id on a small piece of white hard maple ... it works fantastic the speed control..... the functional lift arm make easy to scrawl into circles and enclosed area that I can't ridge with my band saw . It's well built , strong , pretty much better than I thought 💭 it would have been . I believe that for the price this machine is comparable to the most expensive one and definitely can't go wrong thinking about if you pay little over $300 ++ or $700/$1000 for some top brands . I will definitely recommend this scrawl saw either if you are a DIY or if you own a small woodworking place . Hopefully it will last for long time 🤞🤞🤞. Vibration are normal but remember..in order to properly use it the machine should be clamped or actually fastened to a bench to stabilize the equipment correctly. It works flawless but for a beginner level start with some soft wood first and do some practice in order to get familiar to use it . Hardwood might seem to difficult if you don't use the arm holder or you don't have a good set of blades. I recommend Olson brand pack #2, #5, #7 combo and pack #7, #9, #12 . Read the instructions of the application of the blade itself according to material thickness and control it to the correct speed hold down the work piece while you work and let the machine do the job , the more you will practice it the better you will like to work with it . Have fun with it !
