The blades chip if you cut stainless steel wire. Other than that they are good quality blades that would probably cut other softer metal.

I purchased the Haako micro cutters at the same time and have found the blades to be sharper, along with a crispier cut, is achieved with the Haako's. There are tons of companies making the same product and it boils down to what feels best in your hands after using many different models. These are slightly larger and make for an easier cut due to the extra leverage. Would buy these again once the cutting edges become dull
