Vacuum Insects and Bug Catcher Spider Crawler Humane Catcher USB Rechargeable with LED Flashlight, Great Toy for Kids

This really could be a good product if it just had a few things tweaked:1. Doesn't have strong enough suction, for all the noise it makes.2. The LED light stopped working after the first month, and I only used it a couple times.3. The tip that is supposed to focus the suction is basically useless, as it only makes the opening smaller and you need to remove that tip before you can cover the tube, which gives the creepy-crawly inside a chance to escape.4. The slits at the base of the tube (on the handle part, between the fan and where the clear tube attaches) are large enough for some creepy-crawlies to crawl through to the fan area and then to the outside of the handle and this to freedom. I discovered this quite unexpectedly about a year after buying the item when I spider I had trapped in the tube suddenly appeared on the handle right next to my hand (which caused me to shriek and drop the unit which, luckily for me, landed on the spider and squashed it). I tried to fix this issue by putting a piece of gauze between the handle and the tube, but that caused its own set of issues as the gauze ends up giving the spiders something to grip as I'm trying to evict them from the tube.About the only good thing I can say about the unit is that it's rechargeable, although I'm not too confident about that as some of the other reviews have said that the unit wouldn't charge or the connector broke off inside the unit. We'll see. I'll probably use it until it breaks completely or until I find something better.

Gave to my nephew for birthday gift. He loved it but it wouldn't turn off after being used for a while. I had to take it apart and remove the motor to stop it from burning up. The company replaced it no questions asked. The second one is working great so far!

Cheap toy not worth the 15$ but more like a 5$ toy

It WILL suck the critters up IF you are right on top of them. But mostly you chase them around trying to get close enough.

I used the USB charging cable that it came with, as well as some others that I had in the house, but it looks like the cable is blocked by the plastic housing and won't go in all the way making it impossible to charge.I've emailed the seller about an exchange or a refund (because I had thrown the box out), but didn't get a reply.

I bought this bug catcher for my girlfriend because she is really scared of bugs. It is very useful as it catches bugs so easily. The vacuum function made it very convenience and you don’t have to worry about cleaning those dead body because you can just dump it anywhere after I vacuum them. The description said this is for kids, I can it is good for anybody.

Work better than the older model with a D battery!

The small vacuum does not run at 1st try . After battery is charged about 3 hours via USB cable , it turns out a power and noisy vacuum . It is pretty effective to catch small flier on plant and some long leg spider. I would recommend it if some one has similar purpose.
