So much fun for the littles at our festival! And so easy to assemble.

They came disassembled, and it took me about an hour to assemble them all. I have ordered others that come pre-assembled and they are squished flat, so the fact that I put these together and they were properly shaped was awesome! They got sun bleached after about a month in the sun and I threw them away. I set these up for a homecoming and then pulled them out and put them into another yard. If you remove them carefully you can use them twice without breaking the straw stick. I poked a hole with a dowel before placing them in the grass. Great product, will buy again!

4/5 stars just because these are meant for the ground and unless your yard is soggy like mine after the 4 days straight of rain you will struggle (no stake). Even I struggled in some spots with soggy ground. You must insert slowly especially if you have clay soil like me. I only had 1 that didn’t spin out of the rows I added to the yard today. It was due to the connector piece. I didn’t count the pieces, but there were many. I will say the assembly is quite annoying, but it protects the pieces for shipping. I’d rather put them together myself than have bent windmills. The instructions were helpful, but I found it easier to put the piece through one hole at a time. The little connector piece that you separate will get in the way and must go through each hole first. I decided to use these to map out my in-ground garden plants this year. In previous years, I used green flags that had wire stems. While I hate the excessive plastic it will be nice to not have rusty metal throughout my garden and shredded flags. This will help my husband and I avoid the plants during regular yard maintenance. I feel like they’re very pleasing visually in comparison to the previous options I’ve seen in a not so overstimulating manner, but if you’re looking for them you will not miss them. Once the plants grow I anticipate that they’ll blend in a lot more than in the bare yard. For now they add a cute pop of color. I have a bird feeder near and they do not seem to bother the birds. I just put them out and the birds are at the feeder with a robin sitting right next to all the spinning windmills. I love that the tops are removable. I can move colors if something isn’t sitting right without pulling the whole straw from the ground. It won’t let me upload the videos, but they’re really cute.

Our volunteer group was looking for an arts and craft project that was cheap, quick, and easy for kids to put together at a large local arts festival. These worked perfect. The plastic spindle and hub come molded together, so we did some prep work and separated them ahead of time. They easily snip apart with fingernail clippers. Once put together they work very well with a slight breeze and seem pretty durable.

Cut pinwheels that came with lots of different colors. Easy to assemble (video accompany it was very helpful!) after doing a couple. Good quality material! Cute accessory for my daughter’s baby shower. Using them as centerpieces and gifts!

I’ve done a few other brands of pinwheels that were flimsy and made a big mess to make. These are easy to assemble and sturdier. They are pretty good quality. I put out 50 at a time a few times per year for the neighborhood. It’s a huge hit! I like these ones best and have bought them numerous times.

Found hard to put together

I just received my order of pinwheels. The first one I tried to assemble had a hole punched too close to the edge of the leaf sheet so I couldn't connect the leaf to the middle connector pin. The second and third ones I tried to assemble had connection holes that were too small to put part A into part B. Given that there are 100 to assemble, I'm giving up after three and buying ones that are better quality, even if it means I pay more for them. These are junk.
