What a moving story. An insight into the mind of most prolific human being of our age.
A beautifully written book on Mandela's wisdom and power of sports to bring a country together. But more than that this book gives you an idea of South Africa.

For all its problems (which it shares with so many), South Africa is such a wonderful country that was so lucky to have Nelson Mandela. John Carlin tells us how his compassion, empathy and incredible political skill guided his country through such turbulent and volatile times. Simply unmissable. Five stars!
