I see that other people have found they were sent an open bag of popcorn. have you resloved this issue? if i order again, will i be sent an open one?

idk, I ordered this and a bag of cheddar powder on a non-prime account to get free ship on the 25th. On delivery day, the 30th, the cheese powder delivered, but the popcorn, also UPS but different tracking#, didn't. UPS said merchandise missing, empty carton was discarded. Now have to wait a few more days to be refunded and order again. The price has gone up & without the other item it won't be free shipping. So will be twice as long to receive and near $30 now, instead of $20.99 original price. All because it apparently opened In Transit. Whether because of UPS, Amazon or the popcorn people, idk.

No. When popcorn is harvested it will not continue to grow or sprout unless it is a variety used for seed popcorn. This product is not a seed variety.

How long does an unopened bag of popcorn stay fresh? 1yr 3yrs? Indefinitely?

Airtight container(s) in the back of the pantry cupboard worked for me going on 6 (SIX)+ →Y-E-A-R-S!← and counting. I thought for sure that the popcorn kernels would: ①→ Lose moisture & not pop well as a result … and/or: ②→ Become "rancid" from the natural corn oil content in the kernels and would taste wretched after popping as a result … and/or: ③→ Have more than 10% before-popping weight "unpopped kernels" (for ANY reason) … After more than SIX (6) YEARS, →NONE← of my enumerated concerns listed above came to be! ABSOLUTE →AIRTIGHT!← (glass jar or vacuum-sealed preferred) … ABSOLUTE →DARKNESS← , "household kitchen temperatures" preferred … and, lastly, →DO NOT DISTURB!← until ready to use (I separated large bag of raw kernels into quart-size, sealed "Mason"/"canning" jars & opened only one at a time as needed) … That's the ticket, lasses & lads! … to unending popcorn yumminess! …
